Shout out to Skyler from the gig harbor location who from the moment I walked in, welcomed me and was so nice! What really stuck out to me and made my day was when she saw this pregnant mama struggling on what to order and she goes, hey this might help! And walks around the counter and pulls up the little tablet they have there so you can order yourself but she didn’t pull it up cuz she was tired of waiting for me, she pulled it up because it has photos of each item! And she was right! It helped and I was ready to order after just a minute. Such a simple, kind little gesture, but what a lifesaver or I would have been there for 20 minutes unsure of what I want. Thanks Skyler! Your kindness didn’t go unrecognized and I hope your manager recognizes you for this and your all around bubbly welcoming self. I have only been to Panera once or twice before but will surely be coming back to this store when I’m craving a sandwich! I ordered one of their hot sandwiches and it hit the spot.

Honestly, I am frustrated with their system these days. When ordering a rapid pickup, the order is never ready when it's indicated. I'll walk in, and my name isn't on the screen anymore since it's completed. (I'll also note that they frequently bump it early when its not actually ready). I'll stare and watch the employees, hoping they'll ask if I need help. I'll also notice my bag is up there ready, but in a spot for their supervisor to review it and not for me to grab. I guess I could pipe up, but I'm not sure why it takes 10 minutes of waiting before an employee says anything to me or for them to review it for that matter. It's a common theme, and I'm not sure why the employees say nothing every time.

Decent food. Soups were nice but not very hot even though we requested them to be hot. Guess the kitchen staff are not reading the notes. Coffee wasn't really hot but acceptable. Good coffee otherwise. The bread that comes with the meal is smaller than ever! Might be a crumb next time. Apple was especially small but tasty. Wait staff were very nice and helpful
I would say that I enjoy going here, but they got rid of the one pastry I liked best - the blueberry scone. Since it's been gone I don't visit very often.
