To Go's-Be careful ...the online menu prices are not up to date, and we were charged $4 more for a side than listed without warning. They'd charged us for chips, salsa, AND extra salsa which we never ordered refusing to reimburse the funds. Last evening we were alotted one 2 oz cup of salsa for a meal of Bacon Wrapped Jalepenos, Rice & Beans, & Taquitos. However, it wasn't salsa. It was hot sauce from a bottle. No Ranch. No salsa. No Bueno. The food is good. The service and ethics are bottom barrel.

Look, I like small businesses, but whoever gave this place a 5 star rating isn't Mexican for sure. This tasted like Tiajuana if you ever been and while the service was nice. I got crumbs for meat on my tacos and it was plain and Really shoddy feeling inside..

The food was just ok. The chile rellenos were somehow too sweet and the carne asada was a bit tough. The margaritas were delicious though. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. Definitely worth a visit, even if just once.

So, it saddens me to write this a little bit. I love this taco restaurant. The food is really authentic and tasty. I have been going there since it opened. Its a little dark and moody on the inside. They used to have a taco special that was a la carte tacos for a few bucks but did away with it. I went in today to order six tacos and the bill was $40. THAT IS RIDICULOUS. I settled on the 4 taco plate...which was $15 and change...but it wasn't a plate at all...it was a small bag of chips and four street tacos. Not sure if they are just caught up in an expensive lease or what but there are other options that are cheaper here and likely just as good. See any number (by my count 3) different taco trucks...to say nothing of Met Market (which is the same price). Please bring back your lunch taco deal guys...
Very unsuspecting place. Happened upon it running errands, and it's some of the best Mexican food I've had locally! Fresh, authentic, rustic flavors. Delicious salsa and chips, quesa birria, and tacos. The drinks look tempting, too. Definitely will be back!

I had a fabulous meal at Tacos Tijuana with my girlfriend the other night... The people are so friendly... both the patrons and servers. It's a small, casual place near the Goodwill.
The pupusas are lighter than most, served with a chunky tomato onion salsa. I normally don't order carnitas, but I'm really happy I got the carnitas tacos; super moist without being greasy, the tortillas had just a slight crispness from being on the grill... So fresh and delicious! The beans are really great too... My girlfriend would want me to mention that. We drank Modelos and had a great time talking to people. Highly recommend for a casual meal. Just thinking about it makes me want to run over there now!

Worst food. Salsa and queso were tasteless. Absolutely no flavor. On top of that the hibiscus margaritas had no tequilla just pure sugar. I asked to take off the charge and they denied my request. The only thing they got right was the mexican rice.
