The Original Pancake House

Fantastic sourdough buttermilk pancakes! Good thick cut bacon, too. The server was right on it when I mentioned I hadn't seen my pancakes 10 minutes after my husband got his. Deducted one star for that wait and being forgotten even when I mentioned it to the food runner as my eggs got cold and my husband was basically done. Good rewards program in which you get a free beverage on your first visit.

Our family loves Gig Harbor Pancake House for so many reasons. The food is always incredible (shout out to the chefs) the atmosphere is warm and welcoming like we are family and what can I say about the service. Sal is the bomb. He always takes such extra special care of everyone. Get him talking about Hollywood legends of film and music! Jennifer is also amazing and everything comes out perfect. Tonya is very sweet and on top of things! Coming here is like coming to ‘Ohana!

They’re back! We had been coming here when they first opened and then about a year ago things went downhill and we stopped coming. I’m so glad we tried them again. They have a new manager, a lot of new back and front of house staff, and everything that was great about them is back! I had the gluten-friendly pecan pancakes with their orange syrup, a side of eggs over medium that were cooked perfectly, and some of their delicious ham. Their prices are also reasonable, they offer people over 60 free coffee with the meal, and everything was top-notch.

A great addition to Gig Harbor. The food is always good, the staff pleasant and prompt, the servings full size and the prices reasonable. We've been several times and this is our go to breakfast place.

The happy hour breakfast here is one of the few great dining bargains left in this post-Covid era. Still $10 for a full and delicious meal. Servers are also great.

We love this place! It’s a great alternative to the corporate breakfast chains, they’re very family friendly, and have healthy serving sizes. I highly recommend the carafe of fresh squeezed orange juice for the family while your order is being prepared.

Cassandra and Sal are absolutely fantastic! We are met every time with warmth and kindness! The food is exceptional. We have eaten here at least 40 times and have had an amazing experience EVERY TIME! I highly recommend this gem in Gig Harbor!!!

Went here on a Sunday at 1:30ish- somehow still a wait even though there were multiple tables available. Price is pretty steep almost 4 dollars for a cup of black coffee. Good food, really really good bacon. Pancakes were doughy but tasted good!
