We stopped on a Sunday at lunchtime on our way back to Wenatchee. It was busy but we were seated and food at our table in less than 20 minutes! Staff was kind, food was fantastic. We had the Mediterranean wrap and club Sammy. Plus their fries! So good!
Good breakfast and friendly service
The restaurant is horribly understaffed. Not the fault of the workers they are trying thier best. Don't go during busy times. The pies are great but most of the food is Mid. It's alright for the price.
Small town retro diner. Prompt friendly service, home style cooking at reasonable prices.
Had a great brunch here on the way through Gold Bar. The servings are really generous and extremely tasty; this was the first time I didn't have to add even a bit of seasoning to my biscuits and gravy.
The service was attentive and really friendly. It was busy when we arrived, so there was about a 10 minute wait to be seated and a short wait to place our order, but the staff made sure to check in on us and get us situated as quickly as possible. We also got a lovely view of the mountain and train track behind the restaurant from our table.
The bathrooms were clean, there's a good amount of parking, and a wheelchair accessible ramp to the entrance. Would definitely recommend if you're passing through the area!
Grate food with the great top view
Everything we have tried has been amazing, breakfast and lunch. Visited a few times during our vacation and anytime we are in the area we will be back.
Wonderful place on route from seattle to lavenworth.
We were a family of 11; and chaotic. Staff was very very courteous and continued to check on us and pay enough attn during our visit. Great place!
Primarily had coffee+pancakes+omelettes. 5/5
Great patient staff, great food and wonderful for few clicks of the mountains and the track behind post breakfast.
Highly recommended. Will visit again when i take the route!
Disappointed by the service and sadly the delicious looking cinnamon roll was probably the worst I’ve had. Will hopefully try other baked items from here but hasn’t been great so far sadly. If you’re going to eat out, I’d probably eat somewhere else
It's ok but the dries are really bland and the sodas really expensive

The place is in a beautiful location, and the food is excellent! I absolutely love it! But I wanted to let the owner know about an incident that we faced in last October. We had gone with our 10 month old baby, who was super happy and babbling. A woman sitting at a table across said, ‘We don’t need to hear that’! The waitress apologised for her behaviour, but it really made us uncomfortable.
Homey diner with good food and nice staff. Delicious looking pie selection!
If you’re looking for a classic small-town diner with friendly service and hearty portions, Mountain View Diner in Gold Bar is the perfect stop. The menu is full of tasty, comforting favorites, and the servings are incredibly generous. We had the breakfast sandwich and two hot cakes—when they say “hot cakes,” they mean it! These beauties were as big as the plate and absolutely delicious. The cozy, charming setting makes it a great place to refuel before or after an outdoor adventure. Highly recommend!
Great place.
No skimping on the amounts or taste ! Make sure you get a cinnamon roll. So delicious
