“Our new go to place when crossing the pass. Stopped here on the way up to Leavenworth to get a quick bite. Went in not thinking anything special. We were promptly greeted by host/waiter who was extremely friendly/personable ordered drinks and enjoyed the atmosphere. Drinks came, ordered food and didn’t have to wait long to start munching down. Everything was seasoned good, the sauces that coated the proteins were spot on, had distinct flavor, but wasn’t overbearing. Especially enjoyed the corn app and the homemade chips and table salsa from the get go. Definitely beat any expectations we had rollin’ in so much so that 3 days later we had to hit them up again on the way back home. The menu isn’t full of crazy options, but everything we had was on point. Highly recommend, amazing staff and incredible food. Salud.”

“A hidden gem for sure... Who would expect to find the best Thai/Lao food they'd ever had anywhere to be served out of a yellow food trailer in Gold Bar? I surely did not, but what a delightful surprise!!! They have my highest recommendation, simply amazing.”

“cute little pit stop coffee shop where you can also buy souvenirs. Views of Cascade mountains are amazing! They’ve added some great touches since i was last there a few yrs ago. There’s picnic tables and a walking area for your dogs. They’ve also added porta potties.”

“The owners and all of the staff here are wonderful people. They make great coffee, milkshakes, and snacks. The Thai/Laoasian food truck right next to the Woodshed is owned and operated by the same people and the food there is really awesome! If I could give them more stars, I would.”

“Add some Chicken Fried steak this morning that I've been craving forever. It was delicious. However, when I went to the bathroom, they cleared my food. That I was still eating. So when I came back, I didn't get to finish highly irritating. Unfortunately i didn't notice until after I had tipped fifty per cent, then return to my table to find it was cleared. ill be spending my money elsewhere in the future”

“We were just passing through on Sunday and stopped here for lunch. We had spaghetti and some drinks. It was a great price and I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the bar and bartender. We would definitely stop by this place again.”

“We used the river house as our wedding venue and it was absolutely stunning!!! I would highly recommend this venue simply because of the amazing scenery with the Mountain View’s and river. The space is roomy as we had about 130 guests and was plenty of room. We rented the bush house out for the wedding party and it went perfectly since it was walking distance. We did pictures there and were able ti get ready and hang out in a large space. They were flexible with our requests for dogs in the wedding and bringing supplies early. They allowed us to pick our own vendors, do Costco alcohol with a licensed bartender and we had the venue to ourself the whole day until 11pm. (Quiet time is 10pm tho) My only suggestions if you are considering using them is the location is far to get vendors to get there. Airbnb’s are somewhat limited and there are very few hotels. Have a plan b rain plan or get a tent! We needed it. They don’t have any table/chairs or tents at the venue so we had to rent separately and get delivered which is an added cost to keep in mind. Day of staff were extremely attentive and friendly and were so easy to work with! however months prior to the event I had a hard time getting email responses a few times from Cathy. As the day approached closer they did get better replying to my questions but I did get worried at one point about that but continued to follow up and it all worked out.”

“If youre looking for hand made pizza dough pizzas with that stringy pull apart cheese that reminds of how pizza use to be in the 90s, then this is your pizzeria.

Worth the drive and worth the wait. Most the time they come out quick but can be busy around rush hour or on weekends, so make sure to be patient because every slice is worth it. 😋”

“Food is good as always but the guy working is super unfriendly. And unfriendly isnt really an issue but he was more above and beyond unfriendly. Had airport in and no smile, no greeting. I went in to get 7 sandwiches all different and left with all the same ones just to not have to interact with him more then needed. I was to sick and tired to go elsewhere or I would hsve not given him my business at all. He also puts very little on sandwiches. 4 pickles and 7 olives on thr foot long was crazy. I did ask for more and he did but the next one he did the same, very little. Honestly I would go again, not sick and prepared to tell him what I want and get it since im paying, but ill go to monroe over here if thr option is given.”
