Took forever to get my food. 45 min from the time my order went in until I received my food. Ordered a cinnamon roll that I never got, fortunately it wasn't on my ticket. Food was decent when I finally got it.

The food here was good, nothing to brag about. The sausage tasted like they just cleaned the griddle, almost like a chemical taste. The lady serving us was nice, but it felt forced. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day or what. I do love old diners and would much rather eat at a place like this over a chain, but this place... I will have to try again if I'm ever back in the area to find out if this was just a fluke.

I attended as a party of 3 at 1pm on a Sunday as we were driving back from Baring to Seattle. There were multiple open tables when we entered and we didn’t have to wait to sit so that was initially encouraging. However, this did not mean it would be a quick meal.It took over an hour from ordering from us to recieve our food. After an exhausting morning hike, this was a bit frustrating as I could only think about the magical food I had ordered and its imminent consumption.a turnstile of delicious pies taunted us as waited, and while I considered ordering one while we waited, I had no idea of when the entrees would arrive. I asked a worker when he thought the food would arrive about 45 minutes in. he replied he was also waiting on his food and he did not know. This seemed like a somewhat odd response. I held off on the pie then because I felt I should eat my nutritious food first.It was delicious when it finally arrived! I had ordered the Philly with no onions, but onions were present. I chose not to say anything because I did not want to wait longer.We were also told because it was a Sunday there was no soup or salad. The sign outside boasted of homemade soup so this was also a bit disappointing.Moral of the story: if you have time to spare and are okay with potentially waiting up to an hour to eat, go for it. Otherwise you might get yourself in a starving for food and time pickle. If you are in a rush it might be better to choose another destination.

corned beef & cabbage was very good, the new owners are working hard to keep up the meals we all have come back for again and again over the years. It's always hard being the new kid in the neighborhood so lets show them some love for their decision to hold true to the menu,and in keeping the staff that have been serving our little community for years, yes one or two have moved on, but only by choice, congratulations to those who decided to venture out on a new path.we are looking forward to our next visit at the diner and feel confident that nothing but good things will come out of this new ownership.

I had a Montreal burger at lunch. That was really good! I want to say the amount(the burger and fries)was also perfect. My kid had a cinnamon roll for dessert, and it looked good too!

Their place is nice and homemade feel of the area.Their service is the worst of the worst.They purposefully disconnect their phone that you can't call them.They lie when they did something wrong.They don't keep records of previous days of orders. So they can make up any price because some how m meal wasn't that price anymore like now. As well any story they wish.I had my friend come in to order 2 meals with extra stuff on the sides. Since the phone was off the hook as my friend saw but when she told them their phone wasn't working. They said they were have... issues with the phone. Yeah having it off the hook.They didn't give her the extras though they personal told the chief to do so and my friend expected them to put it in bag.The next day I come in tell I didnt receive my sides. They lied to my face and blamed my friend for not ordering it, which then i made my friend come in to defend herself.There was another issue before that didn't evolve us but it was a busy day and people were returning plates of food. other customers were being nice asking the waiters are they ok. Then those customers were being snubbed off by the staff. Making them feel dejected from the whole situation. This was during the power out of baring and some of gold bar time few weeks ago.NEVER COMING BACK AGAIN.
