As a wedding photographer I loved taking photos at The River House in Index.
The setting is absolutely stunning. You’re surrounded by mountains, the Skykomish River, and one of the coolest ceremony backdrops I’ve seen the historic railroad bridge right behind the ceremony space.

I was travelling for a couple days in Index and Bill and his wife (owners of the place) were amazing hosts. They were great guides around the town of Index and all the coast and states in USA . I felt so welcome in this place , the food they made for us was delicious. I hightly recommand to stop by. Historic building, welcoming owners and great food.

Kathy and her staff were very pleasant and welcoming to large wedding party.
The space is gorgeous with views of Mount Index beyond the foreground of the Skykomish River. Well worth the extra bit of time to get there for your special day.
