Everything you want from a traditional Chinese restaurant! We ordered the hot and sour soup, honey cashew shrimp, broccoli and beef, shrimp fried rice, and the garlic green beans. The food came out fast and was delicious! The staff were very warm and welcoming and boxed our leftovers for us. Will be back!
Mackey's has been my go-to dim sum restaurant in the area for several years now. The food is always delicious, and the owner is always kind and stops to talk to us at our table. Everything comes out piping hot (especially the steamed egg custard buns), and it is always a fun experience to share with friends. Since moving away we do not get to visit often, but each time we're back in the Seattle area we make to for a visit.
For dim sum, we like to come on the weekends when there are a few more items available like ha cheung and taro. Everything is good though. I don’t get one reviewer’s comment that things are salty. We’ve never had a bad experience and we have been eating at Macky’s for years.
Also tried dinner the other night and was very pleasantly surprised. The salt and pepper cod was really good as was the pork chow mein. We will be back for more.
