I was genuinely excited to try the Old School Cheesesteak from Charleys, especially after seeing the photo on the menu. It looked like a cheesy, meaty, flavorful sandwich — exactly what you’d expect from a place that specializes in cheesesteaks.

However, what I received was extremely disappointing. The sandwich looked nothing like the advertisement. The meat was carelessly thrown into the roll, the cheese looked congealed and clumped, and the whole thing smelled off — definitely not fresh or appetizing. Honestly, it looked like it had been assembled in a rush and with zero care.

I’m not someone who usually complains, but this felt unacceptable. How do you even serve this to someone? The presentation was poor, the sandwich fell apart instantly, and the taste didn’t make up for it at all. For the price, I expected quality and consistency — instead, I got a mess.

Charleys, you need to do better. This isn’t just about visuals; it’s about delivering what you advertise and respecting the customer’s expectations.

I’d say I liked my experience. The lady asked me what I wanted on my sandwhich and they made my food within a reasonable amount of time. I ordered the #1 combo and I liked it.

We went nov 23 2024 in the afternoon. The food was horrible. The chicken was dried out and the bread was barely toasted and soggy . The people were snotty. I want my money back. The worst. They didn’t ask you what you wanted on it or nothing and it took 2 minutes, very poor customer service and food. Never again at this location. These people need training

It was....fine. It's a food court, so I don't expect gourmet. Probably should have tried one of the other places with a real line. Fried were a huge, soggy, unseasoned disappointment. Lemonade was made with lemon juice (though I doubt real lemons) and had a tang to it. Just be warned, it's not going to be like crystal light. Sandwich was solidly alright. If you have ever bought steakums and made a cheesesteak at home, it's pretty much that.

Meal pictured is a large PCS and Large fries and a large lemonade. Total of $20.

Waited in line with my kids for 5 minutes while workers looked and they didn’t help me said nothing horrible service manager stood there while workers were doing nothing they all kept looking the bigger darker women then man in the glasses the short tan girl the light skin girl with glasses with the bun as soon as I stepped out of line they said hello to the next person in line I will be making an ice complaint

Yum! Pricey but delicious

Went there for wings… didn’t realize the Charleys here don’t sell wings… almost every store in Maryland sell wings.
