Finally it's closed it's about time the food is super bad the cooks always give you the food in an mad af state even the same cooks go to another dfac to eat wild

I don't understand how a DFAC can have terrible food AND such strict portion control, ghost warrior restaurants can definitely give Chipotle a run for their money in the latter category. Take the time and just go to another DFAC.

Friends don’t let friends eat at Ghost. The folks there are friendly and generous. I get it. I would want to give that stuff away too. They have some problems with dryness. I don’t understand having salad fixings and no salad. I don’t really want to go back. I’d rather eat beef jerky and read these funny reviews.

I’d rank this dead last out of the 8 DFAC’s I’ve been able to *consistently* eat at. The service is fine and the food quality is just acceptable. The main thing that pulls it to dead last in my mind is that Soldiers can only choose one “protein”. I actually laughed when I was told that in line. You cannot say that physical fitness is a high priority if nutritional quality is an after thought. That’s what this DFAC feels like, “an after thought”. Generally I gauge how good a DFAC is by how embarrassed I’d be to bring friends or family there, if for some reason I had to. This one would be the most embarrassing. I think what makes it even more funny is that there are other DFACs on JBLM that are above and beyond. How is this one so far behind?Anyway 4/10!

My local dfac(courage inn) was closed so I went to ghost for the first time today. Came in around noon on a Saturday for brunch, not impressed. No forks, terrible selection, stale atmosphere. If I was still in basic, I would rather not eat than come here. The PV2 that served me the the 4 tablespoons of eggs and inedible salmon seemed enthusiastic about her job at least. As I navigated my way through the gaggle of civilian cleaning employees that seemed to just be standing around mindlessly wiping down everything that I was trying to get to(the dried out oatmeal, unappetizing iceberg lettuce, milk cooler with no milk in it, juice machine with only 1 of 4 juices stocked), I couldn’t help but think why the military has a retention problem. They force us to pay for food whether we eat it or not, and this is what we get. Courage inn by comparison is leagues above Ghost and I would have no problem sending my BAS there. I wouldn’t subject POWs to Ghost.

You would think 92Gs would specialize in nutrition and not just scooping food.
