The food here is hit or miss some days the food is great and some days low quality. But it's in the weye of the beholder

i got there at 530 pm… on a tuesday, after they were closed all weekend, to be served, uncooked pretty much boiled, no flavor, no seasoning, potatoes, and to be served like a quarter portion of some way over seasoned super tough, beef strips in some type of weird looking sauce, and when i asked if they had anything else coming out the pv2 that was serving said “not at the moment” and handed me my to go box… please do better

Better food in prison is what some people told me, how they know? No idea

Good selection of food, drinks, desserts and snacks. All kinds of healthy options plus burgers cooked on the spot. Big salad bar and most of the food is self serve.Vegetarian options: Self serve options in the salad barDietary restrictions: Wide variety of foods to choose from. Variety of meats and vegetarian/vegan options.

It’s barely open on weekends, waste of time and money for barracks soldiers.

Please do not put Open when it's closed. It doesn't make sense to put on a website that the place is open but it is not. We wasted time to walk in and go back for nothing, shame ?
Never open on weekends or evenings anymore. Where are the North Fort soldiers supposed to eat? They have to drive all the way down to the only DFAC open for dinner and weekdays (Ghost). If they don’t have a car I guess they can eat sleep for dinner. $400 taken out of our pay and we can’t even eat. I’ll remember this when it comes time to ask me about re-enlistment.

Never open. Should just give lower enlisted their BAS. Absolutely no reason to take money if never open.

Boiled eggs aren't cooked right, portions are small, half of the food is nasty. I hate it

This place is really bad at what it does. Probably the biggest thing: it takes anywhere between 20 and 30 minutes to get through the line on any given day at any meal time. Clearly they're doing something wrong.
The best place to eat on JBLM.
