Another McMenamin’s with seasonal drinks! You have to buy a growler! The bartenders are very friendly in the food is fantastic!

Great little spot! The bar only seats about seven, but the real draw is the outdoor seating, definitely the place to be. Service is consistently good, and while the food options are solid, they do come from the lodge. There can be a bit of a wait, but it’s usually not too bad.

Had the Big River Sub. It was good and 1983 Lager. The service was friendly and accurate. You can sit outside or inside. I chose to sit in the cooled inside next to a window overlooking the river. Careful which way you enter small parking strips. Lack of parking is also caused by people going to the river. Nice thing, this is a bar. No screaming kids allowed.

The bartender Jeremy was so kind and felt like family! I was so lucky to experience this cozy cabin with my mom and sister. I highly recommend this place if you want GREAT service, EPIC views, and AMAZING vibes!!
Perfect spot to grab a drink and sit and enjoy the view. Also the employees are always so wonderful. 10/10 recommend.
Love this little gem with great service and the option of an outdoor space or cozy inside! Always make it a point to stop by when near Kalama!

Very nice walk south along the waterfront from the main lodge, past the amphitheater, sports courts and the new public market. They had pizza and sandwiches to eat. We enjoyed the roaring fire to warm up on a rainy day and the sandy riverside was available to do some fishing from shore.
The view is lovely, the snacks are good and the service is great! Whenever we want to get out of the city, we head there! And while we love kids, we do appreciate that Ahles is 21 and over.
