“We stopped in Kalama for a bit of shopping and to have lunch! The ladies at the Deli are always a joy!Everything came out from the kitchen fast and looking very nice. We always peek to see what others have gotten. I had the turkey sandwich and potato salad along with a frosted ginger cookie. My broth had a club sandwich made into a salad, they do that there! He also had some potato salad and a frosted almond cookie.Somehow, we always end up taking a few of their wonderful cookies home with us...LOL!We will be back for lunch again soon! They are open Mon-Fri. :)”
“We went today for lunch while going antiquing in Kalama for my birthday. . Our food was fantastic. I had the senior Chalupa plate with rice and beans. We will be returning. The staff was friendly and attentive. Great experience.”
“When you need a perk hit this drive through and be greeted with a smile and a view ? very friendly women serving coffee and energy drinks with assorted snacks in a convenient location of of I-5”
“The sweet aroma guided of the freshly made waffle cones guided us by scent to a perfect after-school treat. Quality service and small town care. My family felt very welcome to unwind and treat ourselves after a long week!”
“Overall, this cabin experience was great! Downside is the distance from the main lodge and the food had to be brought over from main lodge. The wait time for the food was actually less than what was expected, which was a plus. The bar staff was friendly, he was happy to stamp anyone who came through the doors! Our water was always refilled quick. Games are available at the bar to sit and have a friendly conversation.Highly recommended.”
“Just had a couple of drinks. Not the most impressive liquor selection. Drinks were reasonablely priced. The atmosphere was alright. It was definitely more of a local hangout, but everybody was nice. I did hear good things about their pizza, although I didn't have any.”
“Loved this place. Walked by it many times browsing the antique stores in Kalama. My daughter and her boyfriend ate there many times on their way back from his house on the coast and recommended it. Went in our last time in Kalama and damn, I'm sorry we didn't go in earlier. Great staff, cool atmosphere and the menu rocked. Try the Kalama dog!!!!”
“This type of place really needs breakfast all day, at least a limited number of things.Staff was very nice. Place was very clean.Kind of an odd floor plan, I think it's set up for separate dining areas for meetings etc.Looking from the hallway as we went past, the bar looked friendly, customers sounded happy.Food wise... What we had was ok, but not interesting. Maybe just us but "simple plain" breakfasts are nice. "Simple plain" lunch & dinners usually a bit boring. There's a hotel across the parking lot, if one stays there I'm sure this would be a great place to eat.Vegetarian options: Very limited. One mushroom sandwich. A few appetizers. Some things can be modified (chicken Alfredo pasta -chicken).Parking: Nice lot.”
“I grew up eating in Chinatown, NYC. This is not that food. But, it is the best Chinese food that we have enjoyed out here in the PNW. We've really liked all the different dishes. We have our favorites, mine being Moo Goo Gai Pan. Delicious! The staff were always nice, often very kind. I'm partially disabled. The food is pricey. However, you get what you pay for in quality ingredients cooked and sauteed to extremely flavorful conclusions. All dishes are hot and plentiful. The menu offers many choices. Nearly an hour away from our rural home, it is worth the ride each and every time. Dine for yourself. I really think you'll become a fan. ?Vegetarian options: You can ask for specific combos.Parking: On the block, behind building and lot a few doors down.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy walk in from the front or back entrances.”
“The young man & gal working the night shift tonight are awesome. It’s not often you walk in a restaurant this time of night & are greeted with smiles & wonderful service! The sandwich’s are KILLER & the place is clean! Great job guys :)”
“everything was way o er priced and the burgers and fries were okay but the new tartar sauce is nothing like the old recipe which is the reason why we even look forward to going there is for their fries and famous tartar sauce so unfortunately we were disappointed plus for 2 burgers just bun sauce cheese & 1 french fry and 5 small twist cones we spent nearly $50. it wasn't worth the $ and probably won't be rushing back to eat anything aside from their over priced ice cream cones. it's sad cuz we grew up eating there our whole lives.”
“I had them cater my wedding back in June and the food was very good. Everyone was complimenting it. They did the set up and were wonderful. The owner put up with me changing the final count of people a few times as well and I really appreciated it. They included everything we needed!”
“My family, friends and other family members have been here numerous times! The food, service and people are always amazing!! ? I hope they open back up soon! I miss their food!!!!”
“Great food and staff treats you like family. The wait isn't long even if there busy. Prices aren't hiked up to where you can't afford a generous portions of whatever you order.”
“Wonderful food and friendly employees. Always busy there but have never waited more than 5 minutes for a table. Highly recommend! We always get the eggs benedict and an omelette.”
“This has to be one of the best bbq in this area The food was absolutely delicious but the customer service was even better he was so nice and friendly I absolutely enjoyed my food, I'm definitely coming ”
“Delicious food with very welcoming and warm staff, in a neat space. The downstairs location might be easy to miss, but they are definitely worth the visit. They have limited hours and menu items, but it works - everything is FRESH. 10/10 would recommend.”
“Good food good service what more can you ask for except free food. ?Parking: New location opening soon adjacent to current location.Kid-friendliness: My kid was delighted with the food asked if Jr. would tell him the recipe to his food lol.Wheelchair accessibility: Eazy peezy for the disabled”
“I would have gone sooner if I had know it was there and had street tacos ..Parking: Be careful about where you park if you have to back up and can't see ..Kid-friendliness: It is kid friendly they even have menu options for kids.Even if your not a kid or still are you can order up kid friendly food to play with .No jungle gym to distract kids from playing with food ...that's a plus .And no clowns ...Wheelchair accessibility: I'm not in a wheelchair but sometimes I should be . I would get in there with one and if there is no room I am sure it wouldn't take much to have some space ...”
“This place as a super friendly atmosphere. My family and I we love the quesabirrias and their vegetarian options. ALSO if you want real authentic mexican food this place is. I see that some complains about their food taking forever well if you want fast food than try a different restaurant because seriously their homemade tortillas are the best! The quality of their food is amazing.”
“This is by far THE BEST sourdough crust pizza I have ever had.If you like wood fired style pizza with a one of a kind taste. You need to order from here.If there is a show “ small concert going on “ you can wait for your pizza without having to pay cover.Or call it in ahead of time if you’re just wanting to pick it up.Also, Explorer brewing a cross the street is an all ages dine in for papa zuzus . They will hand deliver you pizza from Erubus. Also, they have vegan options!! BonusTrust me when I say. Try them!!This pizza is hands down the best in town. Also, there is a 2nd location at Desire nightclub in Portland and they are open until 2am.”
“The value is astounding. LOCAL small shop and really a huge variety of breads donuts pastries and other items ..Sale all the time if 5 for 5..organic even. Worth a trip to Longview. Really. They accept ”
“I stopped by here for a dinner & coffee. I got the waffle fries with gravy & cheese starter for dinner, which came on a huge plate. For me personally the gravy was a bit saltly (not a huge salty-taste fan lol) so I just added ketchup to my fries & it was perfect for me after that. I also got a coffee, which I didn't expect to be so huge. I got a box for my leftovers & I asked for another coffee to go, which they were happy to do for me ?. I saw a couple here, an older lady reading (I'm a bookworm so I took this as a good sign), & another couple with a wheel chair- which they managed alright. Overall would recommend coming here.(Note, I was only in the cafe.)Update, I took my bf here for a surprise brunch. We got pancakes & hot coco, would still recommend.”
“Thai Food is my favorite so I tend to be picky and Mali Thai Cafe checks every box. Peanut Sauce is always on point. Have had several different dishes and not a bad one in the bunch.”
“They have Valentine's specials already ?. I tried the Mocha Sweetheart. I think quality of their drinks is high, & I'd say that their prices are decent enough. Personally, I think they're prices I'd expect in Ridgefield or Hood River, but their quality of the drinks & service themselves are worth it to me.Parking: As a realtively new driver figuring out how to park can be difficult as it's a cluster of businesses like a strip mall. Usually there's plenty of parking space, but it's somewhat a challenge for me personally ??♀️.Kid-friendliness: My 14-yr-old brother likes it here, & I've seen family groups of 5+ here before ? which I took as a good sign.”
“Let's start with the obvious! This place is amazing! I mean that. The atmosphere, the people that come here! The employees! You walk in and it was a vibe! I wanted to surprise my wife with a Lean Green she said it's her favorite! I've never been. So I drove from Kalama 15-20 min away for this. Walked in and just was in awe of this little quaint place. I hope this business grabs and gets going like they want and need! I try to do what I can to describe each review! While in line I took a look at the menu! Decided I couldn't leave with just a drink so a Berry Bowl it is! OMG it's absolutely delicious! So was the Lean Green! The lady in my pictures was talking so highly of the Honey Bear! Description: She comes everyday as a regular! The smile when she grabbed it! The shake of her body when she took a drink. I had to grab this pic! She described it as heaven on earth! In all give this place a try! You won't regret it! I'll surely be back since I am now hooked!”
“Went to see the band Truculence and a few other bands. It was great. The staff is friendly and funny. The owners work hard, but still mingle with the crowd. There was a raffle with cool prizes.Wheelchair accessibility: The door is wide and there is a ramp. Plenty of room between tables.”
“Obsessed with their vital greens protein shake. Batistas are always super kind and knowledgeable about what goes into their drinks and the baked goods are so fresh and the perfect amount of ”
“We ordered Spinach and Artichoke dip as well as the $30 Chacuterie board. Everything was delicious, and they had an amazing array of wines. Jerry, the owner, was so kind and attentive, making our entire experience enjoyable! We loved the decor and atmosphere of this place. Hands down, the best restaurant in Kalama!”
