Classic American hamburger joint that is as straightforward and un-Disneyfied as possible. Clean, friendly, efficient, with a menu of burgers and fries and shakes and malteds, plus excellent fish and chips. Dating back to 1958, but not leaning into retro-cuteness at all, just cheerful and brightly functional, and steadily filled with locals of all ages and stages. I have driven by this "bar" numerous times over the years and finally stopped and enjoyed a burger and chocolate shake. I was not disappointed. Their sauce is like a "fry sauce," enhanced the flavor of the burger.Parking: Easy on and off the Interstate.Kid-friendliness: It's more of a "family" oriented atmosphere.

The first time I stopped by here, I was passing through and was starving so I needed to come back to confirm it was in fact a delicious burger and not just my hunger fooling me.I revisited countless times making the trip from Vancouver, WA and now that I'm living out of state, make the time every time I'm back in the pacific northwest to ensure I can come by here. It's simple but somehow some of the best burgers and milkshakes.Love the burger bar!
