“I grew up in Kalama & this place is always great, the only thing I ever change is getting less sauce on the burger. We LOVE the fish & chips, my kid is 10 & will often choose the fish over a bacon cheeseburger that's how good it is & that's both the cod & halibut, I've had it dozens of times & it's never ever tasted fishy of less than fresh, incredible tartar sauce. They still use soft serve in their milkshakes yet they are never milky, always nice & thick. Their onion rings are also incredible. I've seen some rude comments about the staff being teenagers, I've never ever had an interaction that was less than super friendly, respectful & professional a lot nicer than I've gotten from plenty of rude adults. It's been a tradition for a long time to hire kids from the local area & it gives them a chance to work around their school schedule & learn real responsibility so there's no need to say anything regarding the workers age, if someone is rude then say that who cares if they happen to be a teenager.“

“Great food, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. Cleanliness, on the other hand, not so great. A half hour after opening and the floor was sticky and many of the tables were dirty. The lack of cleanliness in public view makes me wonder what the areas away from public view look like. This isn’t the first time the cleanliness has been sub par.“

Having said that, did we receive a perfect order every single time we stopped at this location, no. However, Burgerville has always owned it and made it right, with a cut above to make up for inconvenience. Don’t misunderstand me, the food is fantastic but this component is why we always come back. Mistakes are not meant to define you or an organization, they are meant to guide the individual and the organization. Almost two full months ago my brother and I were on our way up to Canada for our anual fishing trip and we couldn’t wait to hit woodland Burgerville for them Walla Walla onion rings, burger, and a shake. I pulled right out and hit the freeway as we were already a half day behind. I opened my bag of awesomeness only to discover our onion rings were very cold, greasy, and placid, very disappointing. Nevertheless, my brother called them and told them what we received and the manager asked us to come back so they can replace our order but we were already far gone and a half day behind. With that, the manger took our names and told us to stop by on our way back, and they would make it right. Tonight, on my way back home, again, almost 2 months later, I called. Unfortunately, the manager wasn’t able to recall the instance and could not find the notes with our name pinned up in the office like we were told. Nevertheless, he took my word for it and made it right! How about that, giving the customer the benefit of the doubt, I don’t know, nor am I aware of any restaurant organizations that do or would do that. We love ya Woodland BV!“

“Burgerville is and has been the Northwests version of In and Out burger.
It's a bit more expensive but I believe it's absolutely worth it, from taste to how I feel Afterwards. It isn't your average fast food place. It's worth a try if you have never been Chances are you won't regret it.“

I also tried the shake of the month, the Grasshopper, and wow… it was so thick and creamy. Honestly, 100x better than the Shamrock Shake at McDonald’s! “the cashier was extremely patient with an elderly customer who was clearly challenged by the menu. she helped him figure out exactly what he wanted and assisted him with his credit card purchase too - all the while, smiling! when it was my turn, she greeted me with enthusiasm and didn't mind a little chit chat.
