Willie Dick's First Street Tap House is a charming restaurant known for its delightful food and warm ambiance. The homemade hotdog buns and Charcuterie Board are popular choices. The Windy City hot dog, served Chicago style with mustard, onions, relish, tomato, pickle, and celery salt, is highly recommended. The soft pretzels with beer cheese are warm, soft, and perfectly salted. The brisket sandwich is excellent, and the beans are also a favorite among diners. The attentive staff, including Danielle, provides friendly service and takes extra time to find the right cocktail for guests. The outdoor patio is a great space for live music and gatherings, creating a laid-back vibe. The cook, Stephanie, is praised for her skills in smoking meats and preparing chowder. The restaurant offers a variety of vegetarian options, and the bartender is helpful in choosing beers. Overall, it is a popular spot with both locals and visitors.
