Ordered birria tacos. The meat was very dry and had no flavor. There was hardly any meat and way to much cilantro and onions. Husband ordered the carne asada plate and the rice and beans with it were bland and the meat had no flavor. The horchatta was really good though.

Don't let the outside fool you. We were visiting from other cities and came upon this quaint mom n pop restaurant. We were blown away with the freshness, flavors, and size of our plates. 1 vegetarian burrito, quesabirria plate, and chorizo taco plate. No pictures because we scarfed it down before I thought of taking any. Don't sleep on this!!

Saw this highly rated restaurant while passing through this town and we stopped to check it out. It was amazing! The torta with Birria meat was awesome and so was the taco salad. Their sauces were so great! Took out three teenage boys and they loved it too.

Got the chicken enchilada combo and it just isn't good. The people are great and the atmosphere was good but the food wasn't. The chicken was diced into very small pieces and way overcooked, with not much of it in there, and the rice and beans were super bland. I lived in san diego for 15 yrs so I know good Mexican food and this just didn't do it for me.
