I wish they had more non-coffee options and more food items, but a solid coffee shop. The location is ideal for gathering with friends or studying alone. The tea is from a small independent company and is quite delicious, unlike many other coffee places using Tazo tea or other common store-bought brands.
I would definitely recommend this place if you were looking for a third space in Kenmore.

They now have alternative milks that are tasty. But I have to say, their decaf espresso is NOT at standard for flavor. I can go almost anywhere and get a better tasting decaf latte! I don't know if they don't have Swiss water processed or if their beans are just old? Since I only drink decaf, I don't have a reason to return for lattes.

HIGHLY recommend this place for food and drinks. Staff is super friendly! I see people working in their laptops here all the time or having meetings. Great place for kids as they have a ton of different choices. Good grab and go lunch items. In the summer their patio area is packed and has a little splash pad area for little ones.

We’re regulars at this coffee shop, the staff was always nice and friendly. Today was the first time we encountered a very unfriendly barista. Don’t know the name but she had red hair and a neck tattoo. She showed impatience when we were looking at pastries. We asked about the tea menu, and she said sharply “On the right” and pointed where the menu is next to the register, then started tapping her fingers on the counter showing a hurry. There were no other people in line but it seemed like she was occupied talking about personal stuff with another barista, taking an order in between. It felt kind of rude and affected the atmosphere for us. Otherwise we really love this place.

My absolute fav coffee shop of anywhere, ever. I always get the same drink, a latte, and the consistency is perfect 99.9% of the time. The espresso is smooth, and not bitter. They also have a good selection of teas and pastries - though the pastries are not too much to write home about unfortunately. But the coffee more than makes up for that weakness. I love the location right near the city hangout spot with fountain and courtyard out front, and plenty of space to hang out inside as well.

Big space unless there’s an event going on inside the cafe; which there was when I was visiting. Still, I could find a seat within 5 minutes.
The Chai Latte is super delicious, I think it might be the best I’ve ever had. All of the drinks are pretty cheap compared to other cafes, which I liked.
The lunch choices are a bit pricey but still alright, I had the caesar chicken wrap (also delicious). There are a lot of bakery goods as well and I really really wanted to try them out but maybe next time.
Overall it’s not too loud or quiet and it’s a great space to work in. Some chairs are hard so now my butt hurts😗.

EDIT: So I've been in a few times again since my great espresso day and it's just been bad. It always feels like even if I order four shots in my 16 ounce Americano that it's watery. The cold brew tastes like old drip coffee. I'm just going to stop coming back. I give up. Two stars for fast service.
EDIT UPDATE: We went in the other day for iced espresso and it was some of the most delicious iced espresso I'd ever had. I was really impressed and very happy. Good job guys. You've really improved and I'm very happy!

Stopped in today, really warm out so a cold drink for the way home sounded great. The barista was very unpleasant, really did not seem to want to be there or even interact while placing our order, when I asked what flavor of Italian soda are available she rudely pointed at the sign clearly she was not in the mood for customers, such a rude interaction, I felt really bad for even asking. We ordered no whipped cream yet there are our drinks filled up with whipped cream that tasted really off, we did not enjoy this at all. Will not be purchasing anything from here anytime soon, the Hangar is beautiful, the space is great on hot days, great community spot for hanging out, too bad that this spots is repeatedly disappointing, next time I will pack my own.
