I used to like this place a lot. After a few visits. Something just feels off. Most of their non steamed dishes are made super fast. The restaurant is super clean inside out. I have never heard anything from the kitchen or seen the exhaust smoke. It almost feels like their food is packaged and premade. I hope I'm wrong.

How sad! What once was a cherished local favorite is now a ghost town with tumble weeds. We've been coming here for 45+ years as it is within walking distance. The food was always delicious know matter what you ordered. The portions were always large and more than enough. I couldn't figure out why i never saw any cars or people in the restaurant when I drove by. Then my mom and I stopped by for lunch. It all made sense why no one comes here anymore. The portions were embarrassingly small. My Mongolian Beef portion was smaller than my fist. I asked her about it and she said that I could always order more. Lol or I can always go somewhere else, like Great China in kirkland. Their portions are large and always delicious. Im not coming back here, sadly. For what we got the price was way too high.

This is a really unfortunate review, but Fortune Inn has left me no choice. My wife and I really enjoyed our first two times eating at Fortune Inn--portions, quality, and service were all fantastic. That all changed this Christmas. We ordered Chinese food--as many do--on Christmas Day, and made sure we arrived at the pickup time they sent us. Naturally, the place was very busy--but we never dreamed that my wife would have to wait for a full hour after the pickup time they had sent us to get our food. There wasn't even anywhere to sit. However, we had really enjoyed eating there before, and wanted to give them a chance to make it right. After a ton of phone tag and keeping our receipts (the order, the pickup time sent to us), we were finally able to convince them to offer us a 50% off of ONE entree discount. When we called the restaurant to honor the discount, the worker we had spoken with had quit, and no record had been kept of the issue. It's really a shame--we would have been happy regulars here. However, failing to come even close to a pickup on Christmas and then to jump at the opportunity to make it right and follow through makes it impossible for me to recommend Fortune Inn.

Very personable service and awesome food. Try the Pork Belly with Salted Vegetables, very authentic and less Americanized. Great Dim Sum, too.
I hadn’t seen my waitress for some months and she remembered much of what we spoke about last time. Feels like home there. You’ve gotta try this place!!! Best Chinese food in the area hands down!!!

Love finding great neighborhood small businesses to support! I've only ever gotten take-out so no comments on the in-house dining experience. Agree with others that the outside looks a little run down, but inside seems to be a nice, welcoming environment. Everytime I've ordered though, food has been delicious (which is the most important part)! I look forward to trying more and more dishes in the future. Solid 4.5/5
