The food is okay and what you would ordinarily expect at a diner. I tried the Country Benedict and it wasn’t bad, although my favorite part were the hash browns on the side. Others in my party ordered the kids pancakes and I was a little disappointed that they came with a strawberry-flavored syrup of some sort, rather than actual strawberries as the menu implies. Our waitress was very friendly and came back regularly to check on us. The person who seated us wasn’t too friendly, but we all have our bad days. The one big drawback of this place is that it is in dire need of a remodel, or at least a deep clean. The ceiling vents seemed dirty and I noticed a bunch of black stuff on the ceiling, hopefully not what I immediately thought it might be. Overall not too bad, but would love to see it take on a new look to make it more inviting.

If you’re interested in an “old-fashioned” eating experience, this is for you. Appears rather well-used, even run-down. The greeting was genuine, service was well-practiced, the food was exactly what we expected at what today are reasonable prices. What more did we need?
