The Guest House is a hidden gem in the Kenmore neighborhood! I have been there numerous times and the food and the service have always been superb. Tonight I had the halibut, and it was phenomenal. So light and refreshing . The amazing citrus pea sauce just screamed spring!

Im not sure what we expected but it wasn’t this!! Absolutely wonderful interesting food , quality cocktails, friendly attentive staff ! The place is very casual and comfortable but the food level surpasses the looks of the place! We will be back! A Gem! I’m a pescatarian and the halibut was perfectly cooked with a flavorful yet light sauce - delicious! My husband had the chicken sandwich he loved it. Cocktails were spot on! Plenty of parking! Call for reservations! Others know how good it is!

Arriving at 5, we chose a table in the back after being told that the other table available we could only have until 6 pm. I was taking a friend out for her birthday, so we didn't want to be rushed and knew we'd want more than an hour. The host knew this!We had drinks, a nice meal, after dinner tea and we were enjoying chatting. We had paid, and I had given a generous tip. We were likely leaving in 5 to ten minutes... you know, wrapping up our thoughts and conversations... when the server came to ask us to leave the table. It was 6:15, I was shocked and annoyed. This was the table that we weren't supposed to be rushed at!When did it become okay to ask patrons to leave a table? I'm used to waiting for a table as people finish up...In any case, we rushed and left. It put me off completely... I will not be back and would never recommend this place.

All the food (pizza, appetizers, fries, dessert) were all very salty. We hadn't been in a while and couldn't remember why. Once we started eating we remembered it was because of how salty the food is.

We love having a very good restaurant so close to our home. I did wish the outstanding short ribs or the pork tenderloin had been on last night's menu. I enjoyed the lamb bolognese but it was a little spicier than I like. My husband's fried chicken sandwich was excellent but the french fries were soggy. I realize that the menu changes I just wish I could easily keep up with the changes. Overall a very good evening.

Walked in and felt out of place. It wasn't busy and was seated away from everyone next to the bathroom. Got up and walked out.

Beautiful little restaurant that serves the most delicious brunch I’ve had in Seattle. We ordered and highly recommend the shakshuka, the avocado toast and the ricotta donuts!

Whether you're going for dinner or Sunday brunch, you cannot miss this fun dining experience. Menu changes daily, baked goods are to die for, and staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Can be slow if very busy, but you won't be ignored. Go there!

I have Celiac disease and they have lots of gluten free options and are happy to make a change to an item to make it gluten free. Very pleasant staff and really good food and ice cream.

We love The Guest House. Their brunch is our favorite. The food has a lot of flavor - especially the polenta pork dish. Egg Benedict is also one of our favorites. This time we got some cakes from their bakery to take home with us. Delicious - all of them! Staff is also very friendly :)

Neighborhood Gem! Warm and friendly staff, very good bartender, neighborhood gathering spot. Very good standards such as wood fired pizzas make this an easy choice when you don't want to cook at home but they have some surprisingly good dishes, they really know how to cook fresh fish, for example, not that many places do, imho.

Another fantastic meal and experience at The Guest House. We always celebrate Valentine's Day on February 15th, because it's much easier to get a reservation on that day. We could have chosen pretty much anywhere on the 15th, and we chose The Guest House because it's always been a lovely experience.
