As soon as we walked in we were greeted by beautiful Elsa! She made amazing drinks, had awesome customer service throughout our whole visit and assured us all the food is made homemade so it does take a little extra time with the food being cook to order but it is absolutely worth the wait. My sopito, arroz, & frijoles were the best i’ve had. definitely a new fav spot!!

I really wanted to give La Placita 5 stars for just the cold beer alone but that wouldn’t be fair. The atmosphere is lively and inviting - it's a great place to meet up with friends. The staff…friendly. They’re genuinely attentive and made us feel welcome.
Here’s the catch, and why the 3 stars, it’s the food. Not the best. Come here for the great service, the fun energy, and that ice cold beer, but maybe manage your expectations for the main dishes.

I've been here a hand full of times to dine in and to take out. Their seafood is always on point. Their drinks are delicious, they do have like a clubby type of feel on the weekends in the evening. I've never had issues with the food or the drinks. The customer service is always nice and very attentive. I won't lie they are a bit pricey but totally worth it. If you do not like loud music on a weekend night then i recommend you get take out. Overall I like the food...
