Somer is closed. New owners are here and new name is REEM. They have some things from the old menu and are working on their own. Also a small grocery. Was able to get a falafel wrap w tahini sauce instead of tzatziki. Updated from previous review on 2026-09-30

The owners are very clearly proud of their hard work and who could blame them! The service is great and the food is wonderfully authentic and well portioned. The pita is fresh, the baklava is so tasty and the hummus is a go-to. This is somewhat of a hidden gem, so you’ll find offerings in their storefront of imported goods. The restaurant itself is partitioned off in a small seating area section. Their pastry case is impressive.

I cannot say enough good things about Somer Bakery. The turkish coffee is amazing, the food is incredible and the service is superb.

Seriously, get breakfast here some time. Its amazing. The cheese breakfast meal is by far my favorite, but everything we have had has been amazing.

It is so much food and very reasonably priced. Plus you can leave with a to go box of the best baklava in tri cities. And so many other treats in the market.
