Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican

We typically enjoy Cafe Rio but tonight our take out order was both wrong and missing items. Poor customer service when I called the restaurant upon discovering the errors. We’ll know to check before we leave the restaurant next time.

It’s very frustrating when u go to order food on DoorDash and go try to pick it up before 10 cause that’s when you guys close and we get there and they closed early and there’s just a girl sitting inside with a bag of food. This is like the second time this has happened to me and about the 4th time me and my coworkers have had this happen to us. We spent $40+ to get some food just to have DoorDash be confused and give us half back of that so not only did we lose our money we didn’t get food.

Terrible customer service from a black girl who works at the cashier, she is in a bad mood all the time and always makes mistakes when giving orders to go. It's the only one I can complain about. Managers should check that

They are so fast and helpful. It was busy and a long line but they were friendly and the food was fresh and yummy.

I paid $34.69 for 10 tiny pieces of steak across two burritos. Portions have shrunk by over 50%. This place used to be worth it, but now you get more for less anywhere else.

Incompetent service closing the store dec 8th. Wasted money and time and still don’t have dinner

I did not receive 4x points f(which was the promotion yesterday) for my order. Before tax, the cost of my order was $15.67. I only received 46 points which should have been 60. Please correct. Txs!

I am new to the area of Kent, some friends took me in to join them for lunch this past Saturday, after a meeting. Too this place, I was not impressed and highly displeased with the quality and standard of the food served. It looked like some things like beans had been in the warming trays on line far too long. I was not very hungry, but ordered a side of there rice, and refried beans. When they handed me a compostable bowl with rice & beans. I could tell it was not at all hot, luke warm at best, most food to stay safe, needs to be kept at proper temperatures! ? I asked if they could heat it a bit in microwave. They said they had no way to heat it up! I was basically given the brush off by the overworked employees serving up substandard, crappy, disgusting food. I would be afraid to eat here again. Concerned about food safety. I have worked in the food industry, so I know what I speak of! ?
I suggest perhaps another place to eat!

They get our take out orders right maybe 25% of the time. They pretty much always get the protein wrong on at least one item, use the wrong salsa, forget the "on the side" salsas, etc.

That being said, the food is generally pretty good and fairly priced and it's a pleasant place to dine in with lots of tables and very clean. They have a good selection of drinks options as well.

ALL of the tables were dirty, the trash cans were overflowing.... and the food was mediocre. When asked, our "server" had no clue when asked about food allergens.

People were nice. Portions were decent. Smaller than it should be for the price. It was over 30 for 2 people.
