This was my wife's and I first time to this Dukes restaurant. We have been to the Tacoma waterfront restaurant plenty of times, but this Dukes is a step above it's sister restaurant. From the salad to the clam chowder and then the Fish & chips, they were all perfectly seasoned and hit the taste buds just right, leaving a smile on both of us. We were expecting the usual flavor, being a regular to Tacoma Dukes. So it was a surprise when we both made the same comment of how good the food tasted here. We plan on a return trip to Kent for another pleasant dinner.
Oh, and don't forget the service. Our waitress was also amazing. Only thing I wish I did was to take a photo for this review as I wasn't planning to write this.
Definitely a goto spot, especially pregame for Thunderbirds hockey!

All ones because I didn’t get a chance to enjoy anything. Restaurant was completely empty with tables reserved. When entering I was being seated and a manager stopped me and said all of our tables are reserved sorry. Irritated I left then came back to double check that all sections were reserved as I saw many empty. She then processed to give a little attitude when I asked clarifying question. Service not cool with some undertone of prejudice.

Every thing ive tried is delicious, the ingredients are local, organic and just made into amazing food. The service is outstanding and the bar drinks are also crafted with top notch spirits and home made mixes. Overall the best place for good food and excellent cocktails. From dinner date to family dinner to watching a football game at a classy bar.

Special family occasion at Dukes as our son who is a Marine surprised us with a visit Christmas Eve. Service very slow, took ages to take and receive our drink order, food very disappointing and left knowing we will re think family dining occasions at Dukes.
It was great food, we were seated and our drink order was taken quickly. It was 20 minutes wait time for three drinks. The food was great, quick to the table. Only issue is we were seated right by the door and I was cold... I would come back in a minute but would ask to be seated at an interior table away from drafts.
First time and we decided to try it out on Christmas Eve. We were not disappointed! We will definitely come again!
Great spot for lunch, but preatty expensive now and served bad meat. The western burger was burnt and my wife got sick afterwards.

The workers were nice and the food was decent quality. But for the price of 4 people. You can expect to spend about $200 for 4 people. The portions for what you get and pay for are completely unacceptable. I understand that this is a high end fancy restaurant but there are plenty of other options out there that will give you more food for a much lower price. Keep in mind that when you order something like the chicken tenders. It does not come with fries and therefore you have to order them separately costing you extra. I would also like to mention that the restaurant is way to crowded. You can barley fit 4 people at most of the tables or move around in there freely. Will not be returning.

This location is a bit cramped. Staff was nice. Food portions small. Price is a bit much for quantity. A bit noisy because the bar is close to the dinning area. Expect to pay over 100 dollars for two people with food and sides.

Very busy because of the concert but still good service and pleasant servers. I will always go back here!
I have been to the Duke's at Southcenter and Ruston but never have been to the one at Kent, so decided to give it a try as I read from other reviews that they allow dogs and we were in the area. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon to spend time with our fur babies while grabbing lunch. I entered inside to see if they allow outdoor seating and not only was I greeted warmly but told that they do allow outdoor seating even despite it being in late November. We were guided by the hostess to our seats with menus and then given plates, utensils and water by our waiter, Alex. He even brought our dogs a huge water bowl to share, which I thought was considerate. I received my birthday offer so I got the Oh My Cod! Fish and Chips to split with my boyfriend as well as bowl of chowder to also share. When our food arrived, our food was already plated separately which I thought was very thoughtful. Service at Duke's is always spectacular no matter which location you go to, so please visit one you haven't already or if it has been some time because the food, service and atmosphere is always a good time.
Our food was made to perfection, my boyfriend and I were raving about how the fish and breading were perfect. I love the texture and taste of the coleslaw. The clam chowder was very salty, which I wasn't a huge fan of and might have to try a different soup which is unfortunate as I adore Duke's clam chowder but this is a different location but it had the same amount of salt as my previous visit at Ruston so maybe it's a change in recipe? When we were getting ready to pay and pack up our food, Alex gave us a complimentary bread to take home as well as butter for us. Thank you Alex for being an absolute fantastic waiter and we hope to be back in a future visit.
