If you know the history of ezell's then you know what you're getting. It's decent, I remember when the chain first started across the street from Garfield high School before all the franchise spots.
Ordered food for pick up on 1/15/26 and had to call back to adjust the time. The friendliest and courteous man who answered the phone assured me all was well. The chicken was hot, juicy and tender, rolls were delicious and sides of Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes tasted like Moms. We will be back soon. We want to support a locally owned company.
The staff is always friendly and welcoming--they even know me by name, which makes the experience feel personal. The eight-piece chicken is consistently excellent, flavorful, and well prepared.
