The Kare Kare was slightly amazing from the texture of the veggies, the tenderness of the oxtail and the portions were fair. The Bikol Express has the right amount of creaminess, spice and condiments with generous amount of fried crispy meat…so mouth watering! The Halo Halo is surprisingly delicious given its simplicity with very few ingredients. It is not too sweet and the ice is very finely shaved. So far this is the best Halo halo we ever tasted. It’s a bit expensive but the proportions balance that out in my opinion.
I used to get the pork adobo fried rice, lumpia, pancit, and other random dishes but those 3 were my go to when I was in the area.
Truly spectacular flavor. Just one bite and it’s bursting with flavor and oils but never to the point that it was gross or overbearing.
