This genuinely might be the best food I’ve ever had in the state. I really mean that.

It’s a bit expensive but the proportions balance that out in my opinion.

I used to get the pork adobo fried rice, lumpia, pancit, and other random dishes but those 3 were my go to when I was in the area.

Truly spectacular flavor. Just one bite and it’s bursting with flavor and oils but never to the point that it was gross or overbearing.

The Kare Kare was slightly amazing from the texture of the veggies, the tenderness of the oxtail and the portions were fair. The one mixing factor was the beefy savory flavor that you normally experience when eating this pinoy delicacy. Their twist tasted like it included coconut milk, which is worth mentioning for others that aren’t fond of the flavor. Again it was just that one thing missing. Other than that, it was good. The Bikol Express has the right amount of creaminess, spice and condiments with generous amount of fried crispy meat…so mouth watering! The Halo Halo is surprisingly delicious given its simplicity with very few ingredients. It is not too sweet and the ice is very finely shaved. So far this is the best Halo halo we ever tasted.
