The place seems very dead, but it took ages for my drink to come. I only order a brown sugar tiger and a waffle and it took like 15 minutes for those to be done. Seems the quality has been going downhill since this year. Hope to try again soon and see if they improved. The matcha waffle was good tho.

Ordered a chocolate waffle, but it smelled and tasted sour. I asked staff about this, and they shrugged it off, and claimed that it was my tastebuds that were off than the person. I asked for a remake but they wouldn't do anything to help. Used to be their regular, but now I cannot support this establishment who sells sour waffles and mediocre teas

My boyfriend got a blended mango matcha earlier today and there were METAL BITS in the drink! I’m sure it was an accident and It’s not like we wanted compensation or anything back, but that’s still a huge safety hazard and needs to be absolutely avoided. Thankfully there weren’t any health issues. I’d called the store and was assured that all staff would get notified, but this makes me wary of this store now to be honest. Please be careful!

During my very 1st visit at this store, not only did the employee make my order last (when I ordered 5 minutes before 2 other walk-in customers) but she also made it wrong and acted as if it were not her problem (no apology offered, but to her credit, she remade it). Due to some sort of confusion, she also told me when I came up to the counter that it was not my order (?) when it indeed was. The tables and chairs were disheveled and there were crumps and spills all over a few of the tables. The store was not busy when I first came in, with me being the only customer at the counter. I regret loading up my Happy Lemon account with $100 just prior to this order.Reply to the owner’s response (2/6/24): my review is about your location in Kent, with the address of 10216 SE 256th St Suite 106, Kent, WA 98030. To be more specific, it is situated in the same shopping complex as Nana’s Southern Kitchen and Blossom Salon. There is no other Happy Lemon location in Kent currently in existence on the date the original review was posted. As a former Restaurant Manager and a current business owner myself, I strongly recommend that as an owner, you should consider putting more focus on training your employees and taking ownership of the areas of opportunities mentioned in the online reviews as potentials to improve your customer’s experience/satisfaction and subsequently elevate your business’ reputation/success. Dismissing a constructive feedback from your customer and falsely accusing the customer of reviewing the wrong location is not only disrespectful but also diminishes your credibility, which calls into question how well-executed food safety and quality control is at your particular location.

I am a devoted happy lemon fan and let me tell you why, happy lemon is just better overall. And I don't care what anyone else says. happy lemon solos every other boba shop and I'm not up for debate. My regular order is always a strawberry jasmine green tea with lychee jelly, AMAZING. I love ALL of those things, I have never been disappointed by ANY happy lemon in my entire life. That may sound like an overstatement because I've only ever been to a happy lemon 6 times in my life but still, 6 times is a lot! Everytime I consume happy lemon I am overfilled with joy, Happy lemon is love, Happy lemon is life.

Ube black tea was delicious minus the ice next time, the matcha bubble waffle was alright. Will try another flavor next time preferably the cookies & cream. The & matcha was okay. Clean & small cute place.

Place is big really clean and a-lot of tea choices and other drinks i got the lemon tea with boba was delicious just super sweet had to add a little water at home lol. staff is really nice and they have some tunes.
