My husband picked up a steak salad for me. Right away opening it all we could see is 4 tiny pieces of steak and 2 huge chunks of romaine. Didn’t realize we were getting whole “wedge” pieces of romaine. My husband decided to call and ask how much steak was normal in steak salad and they said 4oz. Right off the bat we could see it was not 4oz. Luckily for me I have a kitchen scale because I count my macros. (Yes the scale is very accurate). Well it was 2.8oz. That’s way off and not okay. $20 for a salad where you don’t even get what you paid for. My husband right away said that we don’t want any compensation but that we won’t be coming back because to treat your customers like idiots is not a good look.

The clam chowder is phenomenal! I didn't think it could get better and then I tried with oyster crackers. Definitely recommend!
they took way to long with my food as the table next to us who reordered more food got there extra food before we even got our entrees.

I have such a love hate relationship with this bar. Great food but horrible service. I’ve been ordering in restaurant and to go for a year plus and I think I’m finally at my wits end. Constant mess ups on my to go orders and rude staff. Just today they messed up on my to go order, told me it would be 10 minutes to correct so I sit at the bar with a super unfriendly bartender. Sit and wait for 35 minutes for a sandwich and while all the other to go food goes cold. If I ran this bar I would have been so apologetic and refunded based on their own error.
Don’t go here for to gos or for friendly service :(

CARD INFORMATION STOLEN HERE: On May 24th we took family to JP's for lunch in between softball games. During this time my crossbody was left on the back of the chair while leaving, a male staff member took my bag in the back office instead of leaving it up front. I came back to JP's within 20-25 minutes and during this time all my card information in my wallet was stolen. Gift cards, personal debit card, company credit card... every single card in my wallet reported fraud and gift cards spent. No other person handled my cross body except their staff member. He also did not alert my server or any other server that he had found a bag. I love eating here with family but disappointed with how they have handled the situation. I went in twice to talk directly to the manager, left my name and number on both occasions and still have not been contacted. A police report has been filed with Kent Police department.
The food is great but be careful with your cards at this establishment.
