KF Sushi Northwest Inspired Cuisine

We ordered takeout and were so excited cause we just moved to the area and are looking for our new sushi takeout spot. We ordered at 6 PM with a 30 min estimate. My boyfriend walked over and was told “a few more minutes”. 20 min later nothing. Then he asked and was quoted another “20 mins”. So he came home and went back 20 mins later and it STILL wasn’t ready. I understand being backed up but going on 2 hour wait for a neighborhood sushi restaurant is crazy. They clearly needed to turn off their takeout ordering system because multiple other people were waiting for a long time and very frustrated. The staff was apologetic but it was clear they couldn’t do anything. Sad because it feels like they had to rush everyone’s food and sushi is a dish that feels like it shouldn’t be rushed. Super sad because it was a little splurge too! $19 for one roll is something we would normally pay but after the wait feels expensive. I understand being a small business I just wish the estimate was more reasonable and that there was more sympathy from the staff or option to cancel.

I really wanted to like KF Sushi and have passed by it many times on my way home, so I was excited to finally try it.

Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. It took a while for our order to be taken, and we waited about 30 minutes to get our three roles—even though we were the only guests in the restaurant.

I think this place has potential, but improving the timeliness of their service would go a long way toward making it a four-star experience.

We got here 20 minutes before 10. I asked the owner if they’re still open. He said, do you know what you’re gonna get? We are wrapping up.

The owner and chefs were friendly and kind. I ordered takeout on the way home and it was a good value overall. One highlight was the salad that had roasted beans that added crunch and flavor. They added miso soup for free - nice touch on a cold fall day.

A hidden gem. Great value on their happy hour prices, and there is boba tea for dessert! I got the rainbow roll and crunchy roll, and both were twice the size I expected at HH price. They hooked it up with free refill on my miso and a Ferrero Rocher chocolate after the bill was paid. Friendly service, will definitely be back. Seating at the sushi bar was great for small parties or 1-2 people.

Went here for a birthday. Ordered a mountain of food and it was amazing. A bit short staffed so it took a while, but the food was worth it. I hope the chef is paid really well.

My order of a California roll and Spicy Tuna roll was mostly just rice. If I wanted rice I would order a side of rice.

This is so upsetting because I have ordered here before and the rolls have been absolutely spectacular just as the other reviewers have mentioned. Don't order these rolls or else you will be left with nothing but disappointment and money thrown in the trash.

Order the Ninja roll instead.

Great place for sushi. Their happy hour ends at 6pm everyday and has a good variety of options. Ordered the sashimi salad, Nagari plate, and a few other rolls….. Will definitely come back again!
