We ordered the papaya salad, chicken wings, Phnom Penh noodle soup, sticky rice. The flavors were strong enough to satisfy an Asian palette. Customer service was fantastic; the staff was accommodating and prompt.

The flavors I experienced reminded me of who I truly am—deep down, I am Asian.

I brought my family here for dinner and honestly regretted it as soon as we started ordering. The menu looked fine at first, but no one mentioned that more than half of the dishes weren’t even available. We only found out after trying to order, which was frustrating enough.

When we asked a few questions about spice levels and protein options, the waitress (seemed to be the owner’s daughter) leaned back against the counter, sighed, and made it obvious she was annoyed. It felt unwelcoming and really dampened the mood for all of us.

Even the drinks were misleading. There was plane poster at the counter showing a glass of Thai Coffee Ice Tea topped with boba pearls. When I asked about it, she flatly told me the drink is not available, and even if it is, it doesn’t come with boba. I pointed to the picture, and she just shrugged and said, “That’s just a picture.” It felt almost insulting, like why advertise something you don’t actually serve?

The worst part? After an hour of waiting, several of our dishes still hadn’t come out. When we checked, they admitted they hadn’t even started cooking them yet. At that point, we just wanted to leave and grab fast food on the way home. Not onIy that, but we couldn’t help but notice that Cambodian-speaking customers around us were served much faster and treated with more attention. It felt like clear favoritism.

Overall, it was such a letdown. Bad service, long waits, and zero care for the customer experience. I really wanted to support Cambodian food in the area, but I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Both my wife and I are from Virginia and we wanted to have Khmer food while we are in Seattle. We visited Khmer Style restaurant and our first impression were very pleasant and the food we ordered were delicious and amazing. We cannot asked for a better Khmer food while we are in Seattle. Thank you for the warm welcome and the three ladies chefs are great cook.

The food at Khmer Style Restaurant was acceptable — decent portions, flavorful enough, and true to traditional tastes. It’s not the best I’ve had, but it’s satisfying for a casual meal.

What stood out more than the food, however, was how hard the staff were working. I saw the servers rushing around non-stop, handling everything with care and politeness despite clearly being overwhelmed. It really made me appreciate their effort.

That said, I honestly hope management is treating their staff fairly. I left a tip, but I can’t say for sure if the workers actually receive it — and that’s a concern. These employees deserve recognition and support for how much they do.

Overall, decent food — but I’d come back mostly to support the hardworking staff.

A wonderful family owned business serving up delicious Cambodian food! We were stunned by the freshness and flavor! The pickled dipping sauce with the fried chicken wings and rice was so good! Can’t recommend it enough. Come support your neighbors :)
