We just flew into SeaTac from Texas. We decided we wanted some Asian food and I looked for a spot that was on the way to our AirBnB. Saw this one and the reviews were a bit mixed, but overall it looked good and had a decent overall rating. Service was quick, the food was hot, the kids loved it (major win), and the egg rolls might be some of the best I’ve ever had! The restaurant leaves a bit to be desired as far as ambiance and atmosphere, but we all very much enjoyed our food (chicken teriyaki, sweet and sour chicken, chicken katsu, and egg rolls).

Promt and friendly service! The interior is cozy and simple, they are too focused on how amazing they are at making food. 5 stars because it's packed full of flavor.

The chicken is grilled with a subtle smoke, the breading on the fried chicken is the perfect crunch but with seasonings shining, and the sauces are bold and well rounded, not just a sugar concoction.

Absolutely wonderful teriyaki 👏 👏 👏

Disgusting attitude and have never felt so unwelcome in a place before from the moment you walk in.

Walked in and no one was inside. Asked if they were open at 7:33pm . She said yes so I ordered sat my family down to eat and she packed out food and said they were closed 10 min after ordering. We sat outside and she stayed open and did not lock doors or close. We went back in to get more sauce and she made a disgruntled sound and angrily gave 1 sauce and had to ask for 1 more after she said I gave you 4 already. We had 4 people eating with 1 little sauce. This lady needs an attitude adjustment. I see why it was empty now.

Honestly, I moved out of the area some time ago after living here FOREVER, I recently came back and was sad to see that this place had switched owners, they no longer offer the free egg drop soup, the portion was kind of small, and as I was leaving with my to go order I noticed the "OKAY" that was their health board rating as I was leaving, damn it, wish I had noticed sooner. Took my chances, wasnt going to waste $40, the food was just kinda meh. How do you F up rice? Somehow they did. I was overall dissatisfied and I will not be returning. The restaurant itself seemed more dingy and just not welcoming, even the 2 people that were eating there were eating out of the to go containers, not plates as it used to be when you ate in. Sad, we used to really like this place...

Tbh for a small teriyaki place, it was pretty good. I ordered the pork, chicken and beef plate, the Katsu chicken and teriyaki chicken plate and gyoza.
For the price…I mean it could be a bit less but then again it’s a small business so it be how it be.
Give it a try. Depending on the time of the day seems like you’ll have a wait. But some patience means fresh food.

Great chicken katsu, teriyaki, and gyoza! Very crispy and crunchy, solid flavor yet not too strong. Super nice staff and clean restaurant as well. My family loves ordering from them :)

I'm always worried I've called the wrong number because they answer the phone with just a "hello" like it's a house or personal cell phone. I have to verify by asking if this is konich's teriyaki.
