Something very gloomy going in here. Shelves have empty. Dark and dingy. I wanted the bakery but selection was not great. Didn't try the takeout hot food. Place was just about empty on a weekday afternoon. Used to be nicer a few years ago

Food truck with pretty good food and friendly staff. Nice to walk over late lunch and get something with unique spices and flavor. I don't like the bagged lettuce, which- for me, is always a drag on overall quality and flavor. However, they are the one food spot on the block. Prices are a little higher than other food trucks. So, for me, this is where I go If I want a walk over pre-order, quick bite.

I've popped into this place several times when I needed a Mexican ingredient for a dish I was preparing or to get Mexican coke but never ate at the taqueria until recently. I'm sorry I waited so long. Spending a lot of years in Arizona and California, I've eaten a lot of Mexican food and my "test" of a place is the chili relleno. The relleno at the taqueria was the BEST I've had since I left Arizona, and I told them so. On another visit, I ordered a tamale plate, which came with rice and beans and a tortilla (for sopping up all the goodness). While the tamales (one chicken, one beef) were fresh and tasty, I thought them a little too heavy on the masa. The place is not fancy but it is clean, and they make many items to order, so pack your patience, but it WILL be worth it!

100% authentic Mexican food. This market has it all. Authentic dishes and authentic snacks. The portions are HUGE! I was not able to finish my food but I did pack it to go. The food is made fresh so you will have to wait a bit for your food. Man oh man was it worth it!! My parents are the ones that recommended this place. We had to try it. It was amazing! Every bite was amazing. Tons of meat in the tacos and Sopes. I was shocked. Customer service is really friendly and they make sure you feel welcome. This place also sells Mexican products and Mexican sweet bread. I didn't not try the sweet bread. I did hear it wasn't that great...so stuck to the food only.

My friend and I were in the area. He was curious about this market as we saw it in the same parking lot or area as the Boba coffee place. I looked it up and it is a Hispanic/Mexican market! We figured we would see what they got! The market is filled with baked goods, authentic Mexican food, snacks, and even clothes! They even have stuff you can make for tacos and especially fajitas - you just have to cook it! We came across the desserts they were selling! A slice of cake and a slice of flan! Both are HUGE and super scrumptious. We split both of those (obviously getting a knife pre-bite) haha. The cake was so delish -- I ended up purchasing a cake from them - and it was for my birthday and my friend's. 4 layers of heaven, not so sweet at all and it was exactly like the sample that we wanted; sweet jam, whipped cream, chocolate shavings around with strawberries on top. 8 inch cake for $30 was not bad at all! I would say, next to the Asian bakery for their fruit cakes, this is my top favorite place to purchase a cake! You won't regret it. Would totally recommend their cakes for a gathering or party!

Do not eat here, ordered my food and then saw a pigeon wandering around the kitchen area where open trays of veggies were sitting out -pointed it out to the kitchen workers and they didn't seem to be bothered. Not clean, do NOT recommend!!!

OMG..my Oaxacena Torta was 2-meals-in-1 (breakfast and lunch). It had all my favorites: ham, egg, avocado, beans, yum, yum and yum. The bread was toasted. The sandwich was humungous. It came with fries also! Get ready to take a nap after eating half of sandwich...because I couldn't finish it

I get my taco meat here, I they have all kinds from carne asada, pork and chicken already marinated. The prices are great. They have fresh salsa, peco, rice and beans.

The smell of bread baking was too tempting to ignore. As I walked in, a baker was carrying a large tray of sweets to the display...SO many bread choices. I should state that I've never been inside of a Mexican Bakery, so the fact that everything wasn't labeled (name/description) made choosing a bit overwhelming. The baker was friendly and offered a few suggestions. Here's a few things that I learned: 1. The cookies are crumbly, so unless you want an explosion of cookie all over you (and inside of your car), don't eat one while you drive. Trust me. 2. The breads may look fluffy, tricking you into thinking that they have a filling, but most (80%) are without filling. Just saving you from disappointment. 3. All because they're different colors doesn't mean that they're different flavors. There seems to be two distinct favors - sweet and very sweet. If you remember that most of the breads are sweet breads, not filled or flavored breads, then you won't be disappointed. The prices are very reasonable and I really enjoyed the experience of trying Mexican baked goods. The grocery store offers a small selection of fresh produce, rows of candy, and bulk dried ingredients (corn, tomatoes, soya chunks). I also noticed a restaurant near the front but it was still closed when I walked in. If you're in the area, try their baked goods!

Beware: this place is infested with rats. When we told the cashier, they seemed like they weren't very concerned. Contacted the health inspector and apparently this has been going on for more than 6 months. Hopefully the owners do what they're supposed to do and clean up the old rat poo. Have pictures of a HUGE rat crawling on the beams inside if anyone is interested!!

Best place for Mexican food in town! The portion is huge!!! I've been eating here 3 times a week for months. Guess this, I am not even Mexican, but I love the food here. The rice and their bean dip here are legendary. Wait the Tamales are the best!!!
