I’ve been coming to Mexi Drive for years — it used to be my go-to spot, especially for the Choncho burrito. That was always my favorite big, flavorful, and worth every penny. But lately, everything has gone downhill.
The portions have gotten way smaller, and the quality just isn’t there anymore. I even started noticing they don’t listen when you point out that something isn’t what you ordered. They just make excuses like “it’s always been like that.”
What really pushed me over the edge was the Choncho burrito I got recently. I never even wanted fries in it to begin with, but I didn’t mind until now. My last few burritos have been nothing but fries inside no meat, no protein, just a bunch of soggy fries wrapped in a tortilla. That’s not what I’ve been ordering for years.
It’s disappointing to see a place I used to love go downhill like this. I don’t mind paying a little extra for good food, but not for smaller portions, wrong orders, and excuses.

I always order the carne Asada Fries. It's better picking it up in person than getting it delivered. 2 times in a row of having it delivered the Fries were extremely soft, and the meat had too much fat. I ended up spitting half of it out. It does taste a bit better when I air fry it.

Many times I came here to eat some people doing very good but some people very bad I came 10/5/2025 at 7:00 Am one person working in window he is very rude I said please extra crispy and no tomato and avocado and he put avocado also extra tomato and I said can you make again he said no I can’t give you again I show my food I was very rude that time

Wow I love this place since the new ownership. Their menu pricing is now accurate, they are very polite and professional, they have large portions like their chicken and rice burrito, their food is outstanding and their pricing is incredible. I can actually afford to eat here and am getting food that is healthy. Whoever owns this business is doing a fantastic job and is really doing the community a huge service. Thank you!!!

breakfast burrito egg was over cooked and gross, could not eat this. someone needs to be shown how to make scrambled eggs... really just not good, burned.

I used to order Washington burrito was very good and I would like to give 5 star for previous chef but now no worth it’s almost no meat also make stomach upset and taste so deference can’t continue to put in my mouth .

Walking in they have a little sauce bar with limes and other veggies. We ordered a kids meal, beef burrito, rice, and beans (the burrito was great shredded beef with grilled onion and peppers, the rice was bland and the beans were slightly lumpy and grainy for our tastes.) We also ordered the fish tacos (fried fish in the taco and it was great, we would definitely order again.) Lastly we got some carne asada tacos (the meat was a little tough, but the overall taste was good). The best was the fish tacos if you enjoy seafood.
