The servers were nice but there weren't enough of them. They had too much to take care of and that made us struggle to get what we needed. The food was okay but lacked flavor. It was really loud, there was no sound dampening on the walls so it echoed badly.

My husband and I came to Paolo's for a private event and WOW were our expectations blown out of the water! We enjoyed a full 5-course meal with wine pairings. Each dish we tried was better than the next! The wines were absolutely fantastic. And the tiramisu is out of this world!
The new owner, Gief, is a really great guy too. At the end of the event, we planned to pick out two bottles of wine to take home — one for us, one for a friend. We were chatting with the owner about which ones to choose. We had it narrowed down to three options and couldn't make up our minds, so the owner threw in the third bottle for free.
Overall, a real hidden gem of a place. My husband and I can't wait to come back for a date night again soon!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, authentic, and genuinely welcoming, the kind of place that reminds you why family owned Italian restaurants are still unbeatable. The food was outstanding across the board: perfectly cooked pasta, incredible flavor, fresh ingredients, generous portions, and desserts that were honestly next level, every single dish tasted like it was made with pride and attention to detail.
But what truly made this experience unforgettable was Gief Rivera, I’ve rarely seen someone care this much about customer experience, is an absolutely phenomenal host, incredibly attentive, professional, friendly, and constantly making sure every table feels valued, you can tell he genuinely loves what he does.
He goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable, welcomed, and appreciated without ever making it feel forced, the level of hospitality he provides is honestly rare nowadays.
What impressed me the most was how much attention he gives to quality, service, and every small detail, he checks on guests personally, makes thoughtful recommendations, keeps the energy positive, and somehow manages to make everyone feel like VIP´s.
That kind of dedication deserves recognition.
If you’re anywhere near Kent, WA and want amazing Italian food paired with exceptional hospitality, Paolo’s is 100% worth the visit, places like this are the reason people become loyal customers for years. The employees here are so welcoming. I ordered pizza with no particular status in mind. It was delicious. As birthday girl, my desert was free. It's a very nicely appointed restaurant. Loved it.

I was here for the first time this past weekend for Valentines Day where my now Fiancée proposed!!!! I will remember this place forever because of that. There was a live Harp player, and the waiters were all so kind and came up to congratulate us. I want to give a huge shoutout to the owner(s) as well. I was told typically parties of above 4 aren't allowed but they recognized my fiancée from when he used to work for an insulation company years ago, and he was in charge of remediating her attic!! Small world! My seafood fettucine was cooked perfect; the bread was fresh and the desserts looked amazing! I was blubbering like a baby all night so did not have the chance to try any. Theressa was our server and she was just a gem the whole night. We are definitely going back for other things on the menu we've seen, and I recommend anyone trying to have a nice date night with their loved one to come here!
