What an absolute gem this place is. The woman who seems to own this shop is just a magical, kind, and very personable/engaging. We were just looking to buy some tea tonight which was an experience on its own but will absolutely be back for a tasting & boba.
Just found this place on the maps, and decided to stop by! We were greeted by the sweet owner, who gave us a rundown of how she started making boba. Our order came out fast too and it’s absolutely delicious. Honestly, the best boba I’ve ever had. Please stop by and give this place a change you won’t regret it! My boyfriend who isn’t usually a fan of boba said it’s also the best.
I got taro milk tea and my boyfriend got the vanilla milk chai.
This tea shop is the best, that's why she maintains 5 stars!
I recently went on a repeated trip to Serenity Moon, and I finally found a chance to write this review: This is a Washington State Gem.
During our first trip, I was astonished at the sheer selection and variety of tea available to purchase. Along with the easy to select from system, all the tea available has quick-grab bags so once you have taken your time to select from the myriad options, you can pick up your 2oz and move along if that’s all you have time for that day.
We originally came for the Bubble Tea, and that’s where this review is critical. My wife and I are massive bubble tea fans. Over our 10 years together we have tried hundreds of stops, truly triple digit numbers, and this place will always rate in the top percentage. The Boba itself is soft and sweet, just enough to spark that extra life in the tea you have selected. The tea flavor was perfect, with none of the telltale acidic or burnt tastes that arise from tea left on brew that you usually find in less quality places. For reference, I am usually a base black milk tea fan and my current go-to is the shops Oolong option and it’s been a treat. If you at all enjoy tea, it’s honestly worth the drive to experience this place atleast once.
The final straw that broke me into a review was having our first tea tasting. An absolutely amazing experience. The owner (whose name I will leave out simply for privacy) was an absolute delight. The idea is you simply pick 3 tea options and the Hostess will prepare each one a number of times, educating you about how to truly experience the art of tea. I took my brother, who was from out of state (and is frequently hard to entertain) because we knew the experience would likely be sublime. It was. The tasting was enlightening, educational, and fun for everyone involved. My brother left the shop elated, talking about how he thinks he might actually love green tea now and is already planning on rearranging aspects of his kitchen to accommodate adopting some of the practices we saw and learned.
For as long as we live in the PNW, we will make time to visit this little shop, and others should too
Trust me, I am no tea fan. Came here because my wife wanted to. Crazy tea lady (she called herself that) was friendly and knowledgeable. We did a tea tasting and it was well worth it. A very unexpected educational experience. I ended up wanting a tea set to recreate my tea tasting experience there. My wife and I bought a set.
Best place to shop for loose leaf tea's and the best boba you will ever experience. The kind lady will give you the best advice for your hard ships in tea and build upon your taste buds. The teas are so authentic and delicious its unbelievable. Not only are the teas delicious but so is the bubble tea, the tapioca are cared for so lovingly that there cooked through out and the flavors are heavenly beautiful. (Try the green tea its so authentic) if I could I would give this place a 10/10 I crave the bubble tea everyday now.
Fabulous place for fresh boba and an authentic testament to a beautiful tea shop. It was my husband and I's first time here and we will be back many times over. This place is special.
Charming and authentic tea shop run by a lovely woman who cares very deeply for good tea. I came in looking for a basic bubble tea and left with a delightful jasmine milk tea and desire to bring my friends for a traditional tea tasting from her extensive selection. This is my new favorite tea place, tucked away in an unassuming shop in my own humble town.
This bubble tea is amazing! I brought a fresh pink lady apple and mixed it with her honeydew flavor, 50% sweet & oat milk! I’m completely blown away with how fresh, full and delicious the flavor is!
I found Serenity Moon Tea store online today. Thankfully I visited the store and met the owner. She was so nice, helpful and did an incredible job of educating me on teas and other products that her store offers. It was an incredible experience for someone just getting into drinking tea. Unfortunately, I live in the state of Tennessee and won't get to come in often, but she offers a service of shipping direct and I'll definitely be using it as often as possible. I highly recommend visiting her store. It's educational, fun, and a great experience. Thanks for your help and I'll be in touch soon..

I have long been seeking a genuine tea shop such as this. It is not merely where one can purchase loose leaf tea, but a place run by an incredibly knowledgeable lady who has a great passion for her work and wishes to share it with others. Mako not only brings sublime and authentic teas directly from the source; her personality is welcoming and it is always a pleasure to speak with her. A heartwarming place where one can learn a great deal about tea.
The owner is awesome. She cares about the customers and making sure they get what they want. Her bubble teas are the best around, but her specialty is loose leaf tea. She has the best selection around and knows her teas. She can tell you the benefits of the teas and can help you find the right tea for you.
She's amazing. I learned so much. They have little pre-made tea bags that help with inflammation or headaches or diabetes. She shows you how to make the tea and it's wonderful. Such a great environment and her ice cream is amazing.
Hands down the best boba in Washington. I’d recommend half sugar if you’ve never tried it as they can be quite sweet.
The tea is also very good from here. I’ve tried a few different green teas and have bought a tea set and have not been disappointed.
All three members of our party agreed that this was the best bubble tea we have ever had. We had the smoothie, liquid and shake versions, with milk and black tea. Excellent options, try the house specialty cinnamon and vanilla. Absolutely delicious.
