Waited almost 5 minutes at the order box before there was a response, then with no one else in front of me at any point I waited 15 minutes at the pick up window for a 1 combo meal order that they got completely wrong

Bathrooms were disgusting and homeless were watching my girl walk into the bathroom.So she went into the bathroom with me and one rude employee decided to pound on the bathroom door proceeded to open the door and hold it open while we were in the bathroom

Very nice, helpful staff. Even though I had a confusing otder they corrected the only mistake they made very quickly and free of charge. Atmosphere is like any drive in, and the staff here did a great job during my visit.

Probably one of the best places to eat around with delicious shakes and drinks to cool you off in the summer heat, and amazing deals with snacks and feel good food you'll enjoy for sure.

If you want great drinks, desserts, and some fried snacks, Sonic is fantastic for that. Their soda mocktails are worth the trip on their own.
Its the food that really lets them down. Sonic's burgers are nearly inedible in all circumstances. Just don't.
The breakfast items are the lowest effort I've ever seen. My breakfast burrito had egg patty just cut in half so the tortilla could be rolled around it. They couldn't be bothered to simply scramble the eggs. Even McDonalds will do that.
The hot dogs are better but these are still your bare minimum quality dogs. You're much better off going to the store and just cooking your own at home or heading over to Costco just down the road.
If their food improves, they could be the best fast food place around. As it stands, they are worth a quick drop-in for drinks and ice cream. Get dinner anywhere else.

Never tried a Sonic before. I liked the format: park, read the menu, and press the button when you're ready to order--no rush. Then a courteous employee brings it out to you. The double smasher (a burger with thin patties) was great and the Oreo shake was surprisingly good.
