Hands down the best sushi restaurant in the PNW. Small place, I believe the chef only serves one table at a time, so booking is tight. We waited about a week before we got a slot. When you do place your reservation, you will also need to order your dishes in advance. It's a very personal experience, which is great because it lets us appreciate the quality of sushi. We ordered the chirashi bowl and omakase, and it's the best that we've ever had.

After weeks of trying, we finally secured a reservation—and it was well worth the wait! This hidden gem offers an intimate dining experience, perfect for couples or solo diners at the bar. The one-man show by the chef creates a unique and personal touch. He was incredibly kind and attentive throughout the meal.

The highlight was the 14-piece chef’s choice nigiri, featuring fresh fish sourced from around the world—some of the best quality we’ve ever had. We also tried two additional rolls but found ourselves satisfied after the set. (Rolls were also very good for the price) For the quality and experience, this omakase is an incredible value. Highly recommended!

Been here twice and I can confirm this is easily one of the best sushi spots in the state. I love everything about it honestly.

I finally visited a place I had wanted to go for a long time. I wanted to make a dinner reservation, but the time slots filled up quickly, so I booked an early dinner for 4:45 PM. It’s a sushi place run by a chef alone, so my expectations were very high! You do need to make a reservation in advance, and they charge little more on tock (reservation platform) website, but just so you know, the final bill only deducts the $70 reservation fee.($35 per person!) Still, it was an incredibly satisfying dinner. If you must have sashimi, I’d recommend it, but the chef’s choice sushi lets you try a wider variety of fish. Luckily, we ordered a bit of everything, including rolls, and also added uni. Definitely try the uni! It was $12 per piece the day we went, and it was incredibly delicious Hokkaido uni. The futomaki doesn’t have fish, but it has tofu, and it was perfect for a single bite. The rainbow roll and spicy salmon roll weren’t particularly unique, but still tasty. The small shop had nice music playing and bright lighting, but the overall ambiance was great. I think it’s a perfect spot for a date!

It's a one man show and he does a really good job. Ordered the sea bream crudo, chef choice sashimi, uni gunkan, scallop gunkan, chutoro sushi, scallop sushi, sweet shrimp sushi, and unagi don.

Really enjoyed the individual sushi and unagi don. Wasn't too fond of all of the chef choice sashimi selections, but the quality of the fish was still really good.

Honestly this restaurant shouldn't be listed as open if it is by appointment only

This place is next level. It's the most intimate setting I've had the privilege to go to. The food was unbelievable and the chef was incredible. Explained every dish, the origin of each piece and the presentation was delightful. This place only accepts 3 groups of 2 at a time and reservations are booked out way in advance, so plan appropriately! We already have new reservations for next month.

OK..... this was a recommendation by a friend when I was visiting my hometown annnnnnnnnnnnnnd I would say .... ABSOLUTELY YES!

EXCELLENT little "hidden gem" as some would say. I was visitng my hometown and this was a friend's recommendation for our meetup. I passed it on the road a couple times! lol ... whoops! It's very modest on the outside and verrrrry intimate on the inside. CUTE decor and very intimate, only two tables that maybe could hold up to 7 or 8 people total. No liquor license yet but the food quality is reason enough to patron!

My friend and I shared three different specialty rolls. The Sunrise, Seared Spicy Scallops and the Baked Baby Lobster were the three we shared. All three were presented extremely well with lots of little added flourishes on top while sitting amidst unique plating.

I could't begin to critique each roll individually other than simply stating AINT NO SUSHI LIKE SEATTLE SUSHIIIIII! SO good ! Prices were also very fair and portions were great! I really hope that this unique little place flourishes and continues to grow in success because the establishment has an overall good feel and the food was reallllllly good!

Hidden gem of Kent, and definitely one of the top places to get high quality sushi in the PNW. Everything we had was tender and fresh, and the chef omakase was perfect. Can’t wait to come back here soon ?
