I went with my family to try and have a good time there, but they were so rude, we ordered something and they gave us the wrong thing and when we told them about it they got mad I apologized and the cashier lady rolled her eyes at me and left.

As a local, I used to enjoy visiting Sweet Notes, the atmosphere and offerings were lovely, and it had been a go-to spot of colleagues and mine, despite ongoing customer service issues and long waits.
Unfortunately, I’ve recently learned that the ownership has publicly supported causes that don’t align with my values.
I feel it’s important to spend intentionally and support ethical small businesses and urge reviewers to do their own research.

So I don’t appreciate having my experience downplayed. “Being a Latina owned business & upbringing minorities and poc” is a nothing statement with no relevance to my experience and your consistent lack of service.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: They consistently have the worst customer service, which is why I rarely order from here. There’s a small counter for pick-ups and I am always ignored when I walk up, but today felt extra intentional. So I walk to the counter and of course they’re ignoring me as if I’m not there, but mind you all the workers are making eye contact with me as they pass by. After 10min, I ask one of them about my order. She asks for my name, I tell her, then she proceeds to ignore me and resumes making beverages??? Didn’t even check around or let someone else know. I ask another worker and she pulls my order out from behind the counter. So my order was already finished by the time I walked in, and was just sitting, getting cold. I believe they only treat black customers this way. My sister and cousin have had the exact same experience. The food is good but the intentional and consistent disregard for customer service is why I won’t be ordering from here again.

A very cute and neat simple cafe. We had breakfast! There are sweet types and not-so-sweet types. It's voluminous and I'm very satisfied! It's so hard to eat all of it. recommendation.
The food is delicious and the coffee is so wonderful! The staff is always so friendly and helpful, I love coming to either have a meal or just a chat with a friend. The price is pretty reasonable too for the portions are decent.
Just a suggestion as a frequent customer; people often don't know the policy of ordering THEN taking a table. They take a table without ordering, causing a wait in the line. Maybe post a big sign/announcement on the door OR put a reserved sign on the wiped tables, taking them away when customers order and sit down. That way, it doesn't cause confusion and prevents people from taking seats from families who already ordered. Please reply if you think it's an ok suggestion :)

I met a friend here for our first time and I ordered the horchata latte. Best drink I ever had, wonderful flavor, sweetened perfectly. The foam was nice and rich all the way to the very last sip. It was in a nice big mug for 16 oz since we sat inside. I will be back to try food too. 😋

Came to work on a Friday morning, and it was so packed! Full of people and pretty busy, good place to catch up with friends and brunch. Got their Lattes and a croissant,both were okay. Wish my coffee was hotter, in spite of asking, I got a colder one ;(
