We had our order delivered and were blown away by the food!!!! We were just browsing the internet and came across this restaurant, couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. We ordered the following and loved all of them: Cashew chicken Mongolian beef Ching qin chicken I am looking forward to trying more things on their menu!!! I wish I would have taken pictures 😞

*** Had to edit after 4 years on 8/25/25**** I've been frequenting this place since 2021. A year ago, there was a rock in my chong qin chicken and I chipped a tooth. I let it go because the flavor of food is amazing, but today, we just found a cooked beetle in the food . Please review the quality of your ingredients and check the food. It was in the green beans. Be careful, and please put more attention in the food
Most authentic and great quality Szechuan food in the greater Seattle area. They even deliver on Doordash. Dine in, the service is awesome and so is the food. I highly recommend this place

We have enjoyed food from Szechuan First for many years. Tonight we spent close to $100 for a door dash order to be delivered to our home. One of the items included honey walnut prawns - one of our favorites. What they provided was VERY overcooked. I want Szechuan First to stop and think about what they are allowing to go out on a door dash order. I doubt they would’ve served us those prawns if we were sitting in their restaurant. Eating out is getting more and more expensive. They need to pay closer attention. I’m not sure we’ll be going to Szechuan First again.

Szechuan First has been our family’s favorite Chinese restaurant for 10 years. We never minded for 20+ mins drive. Before visiting today, we were excited about the remodeling but were also concerned by the rumor about the possible ownership change.
We noticed that the entire staff was replaced. Unlike the past friendly and prompt staff, it was really hard to get their attention. After sitting, it took 15 mins until we were finally able to order. They wildly put the dishes on the table then turn around immediately with no word. Don’t want to say about the service but I recommend you to get rid of the table close to the counter. Otherwise your server will spill the food on someone’s head one day.
The worse thing is… the food was changed. We ordered our regular dishes that we had for several years and immediately noticed the difference. As other reviewer said, the food is still fair, the portion and price are same. If you live close, then it would be okay.
Unfortunately, it is no longer worth for us to drive 20+mins. It is sad to say to our beloved spot, but it was our last visit to Szechuan First.

Where do I begin? I absolutely love this place. By far my favorite Chinese restaurant in Washington! Everything from the new design of the restaurant to the amazing food quality and reasonable prices is just perfect! The lunch specials are an incredible deal as well. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Unfortunately this place is no longer what it used to be,new owner, new team. The taste and quality are no longer the like the oldest, the only things that haven’t changed are the price and portion size. However, as someone who can genuinely distinguish the quality of Chinese food, I personally believe the current quality is still fair for the price and remains consistently average if you’re never been there before.This review is a kind reminder for longtime customers
