Amazing sushi place I’ve ever been, everything is good about this place, employees are very nice, helpful and quick to take your order. Always appreciate that. Although it is recommended to take the all you can eat as this place is pricey. Clean environment and vibe, good rating of 10/10. Wish I could give more!

Great sushi! The staff at the sushi bar were fast and friendly. Good variety. The salmon Nigiri was amazing, very fresh. For AYCE sushi, you definitely get your money's worth. The only negative was the hostess at the beginning. She didn't ask us if we wanted the AYCE when we came in, just sat us at a table. When we asked our server about the AYCE, she told us it was only at the bar and got us a spot right away. The place does look a little run down, but the sushi is still great quality.

This place has pretty great sushi. We ordered the sushi roll of the month. It was perfection as was all the other food and the drinks. The restaurant was very clean, the staff was kind, helpful and attentive. There's a parking lot behind the restaurant so you don't have to search for parking around kent station.

Been going here on and off for years. They closed AYCE during Covid (understandably), so I just recently visited for the first time in a while. Good sushi, every time, hands down. The chefs are personable, quick, and more than happy to make adjustments as needed (different fish for texture, other sauce, etc). Extremely flexible, accomodating, and charming. Highly recommend, even for those new to the sushi experience - there's diversity on the menu without being overwhelming.I have noticed two things regarding my dislike for Trappers as a whole: extremely poor service when dining alone, and unusually pushy management regarding staff expectations. Dining solo at a regular table means little to no service (bussed my table when I went to the restroom!) unless you sit at the bar. The establishment also runs donation fundraisers every so often, and the waiters ask you if you want to participate. However, at this particular location, I discovered that if you declined, staff were scrutinized and actually punished if they didn't meet what management felt was 'enough' regarding sales per waiter per shift! Yikes.Overall, stop by. They have rotating Drinks Of The Month and Rolls Of The Month, so that's fun. Just sit at the bar, skip the tables, and try something new.

I've been to Trapper's several times and have not been disappointed. They have a wide variety of sushi and rolls on the menu, and a full bar with impressive cocktail list. I'd avoid the hot tea - it was not great. I stop here every time I'm in the area, and am always looking for reasons to be in Kent so I can stop in.

Tasteless miso soup (like water with tofu), grey meat in the deep fried gyoza, and the sushi.. like Safeway sushi but mushy and seemingly old. I'll have to make another dinner tonight.

What a great Sushi restaurant. Driven by many times but recently dined in. The gentleman that made our Sushi was very nice and did excellent job. This will be one of my top places to dine in future.

This place is not bad. It's more like a 3.5 since I actually wouldn't mind going here but the presentation was sold. They don't look like they have flavor but they do. The flavors are just ok, nothing amazing but it also doesn't leave a bad taste in your mouth. If you want sushi and you're at Kent Station, this is not a bad choice.

*This was the Federal Way restaurantI ordered the Sashimi plate which comes with 12 pieces of sashimi, salad and soup. I also ordered Unagi sushi. Was told 20-25min but it took almost an hour!I checked when I got out to my car and the salad and soup were missing.Went back and talked to Victor. As I showed him the unagi loose and rolling around in a large clam shell, he said it’s nigiri what to you expect? I agreed with him and he said why are you being rude. At this point I just wanted to get out of there!Super disappointed when I got to my hotel room to find only 9 pieces of sashimi. The sashimi was on the bottom and tasted like the seaweed salad/sesame oil.The manager was gone when I called back at 7:50.I asked why there wasn’t any eel sauce on the Unagi. The person I talk to you said they don’t have el sauce and the closest they have is teriyaki. That was a funny statement because I can see it on pictures of their rolls and other items!

It was outstanding! We went there on Sunday afternoon had the lunch all you can eat sushi. Every dish has it's own flavor and uniqueness. The guy who was making the sushi was very knowledgeable about everything in each plate...just we wish that the waitress brought us more pickled ginger and should be more attentive when it comes to customers needs.... Overall the place is clean and the food is outstanding...

We wanted to grab a quick bite to eat on a Thursday night. We're in the area and saw they were still open. We could not be seated because it was too close to closing so we tried to order to go and were refused that as well.

The service I received here was inconsistent and lacked a sense of urgency. My party and I waited about 25 minutes to be seated at the all you can eat sushi bar and were told that we both have to get the all you can eat dinner deal to sit there (understandable). We take our seats and enjoy our meal. The deal is really great if you have a big appetite! I very much enjoyed their miso soup and their Trump Roll! 10 minutes later a couple sits next to us at the sushi bar, but they split one roll and cash out? Not fair. Why were we asked to pay two all you can eat dinners, but another couple is able to order one roll split and cash out? At the end of the day, it's the principle and I'll know better next time if I ever come back.

The food is delicious. Unfortunately, the service is trash. Every time I have come in for a to-go order, I have been treated disrespectfully. The servers are rude, cold, and unfriendly. Regardless of the time of day, my appearance, and my order I am treated as though I am less than a person. Today I was serviced by "Ana", and she could barely speak to me, make eye contact, or finish completing my order without a rude disposition. If you want good sushi, this is your place. If you want good service as a POC, its not.
