Very well prepared Chinese food. Vegetables were not overcooked, still crisp and vibrant in color. Also not too much corn starch in the sauces. This is not American Chinese food..thank god

Food not bad, way more vegetables than meat which is disappointing and after eating a lot of the food I found a few short hairs in it which made me lose my appetite completely. Maybe I’d give a better review if the service was good but it wasn’t, it’s like we weren’t even there to them. Better your service and you’ll better your reviews. Don’t act entitled and treat your customers with a little more respect. That’s how you get good tips.

You'll only find the most authentic food here. Everything is so fresh. The duck had just enough fatty, meat, and crispy. The fish was awesome. We also get it half steamed and half made into soup and both excel in their taste. The honey crisp pork ribs are always a top choice for us. Loved that the fried calamari was like finger food for us. And their garlic satueed water spinaches bring the color and health to the table. They also come in such big portions that we had plenty to take to eat the next day, which not to mention, still tasted fresh even after the microwave. So lucky to have found this gem.

Very disappointing.
This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The staff were disrespectful, unfriendly, and practically ignored us. We had to wait over an hour for our food, while other tables that arrived later were served first. There was no apology or explanation. With this kind of service, I will definitely never come back.

This place is one of the authentic restaurant that serve Cantonese food. Friendly server and great food!

V Garden is the closest I’ve found to authentic Chinatown flavors, in the South. The prices are reasonable, with most entrées under $20—though some dishes may be a bit more. Overall, the pricing at V Garden is pretty decent.

Parking is a hassle, but the restaurant itself is small and well-maintained. It has become my go-to spot whenever I’m craving good Chinese food but don’t feel like making the trip to Chinatown. It always hits the spot!

musty tables sticky tables crowded dusty , the food was so blandddd we asked for extra hot sauce no hot sauce was added , we asked for rice did not receive it , when i went up front to pay the total was unexpected.. and i asked for a receipt and she showed me scribbles on a papare with no show of what i ordered. didn’t get offered drinks did not checked up on once , gave us bland water with green powder in it which they called tea , which i call garbage water. Instead of v garden it should be called VRICKEN GARBAGE.

Great local place with good flavor. Tea and water available from the beginning. Peking duck was available too! It was very crispy, but served with buns instead of wrappers. The two vegetarian dishes, Egg Foo Young and the Buddha feast were great. The Egg Foo Young was different from other places I've been too, but the best I've had.

Why this restaurant gets such low review score? It is a really authentic one for Chinese food, especially the soup. Their service is excellent as well. They help with getting food into the to-go box, which is now rarely seen in Chinese restaurants service, no matter Seattle or the bay area. Price is also very reasonable. They deserve at least four stars. Since it’s now underscored a lot, I am giving it five stars.

For you people who saying the services is terrible. It because you guys don’t know how to act or be a boss. You gotta order them around and be a mafia boss in there. Then they’ll give you service. Anyways, food is crap. If you go to California the Chinese food taste like it came from the Ching dynasty. Oh my god, the Chinese food in Wa been one of the worst nightmare. After eating what they spat out, even china would not want them back.

Food was great but it was off putting how rude one of the servers were. Her ‘Yah, yah, yah, I know, I know, I know,’ to my polite request for water (“May I have some water, please.”) soured the dining experience from the start.

Still the food was great and came out quickly. Will likely go again if I can get a different server.

Also, it would help to have the ordered items written in English on the bill.
