Visited this vineyard this week and it was amazing!! The owner was the person that hosted the wine tasting and was a wealth of information, with personality to boot!
Oh, and the wine was awesome!! Our little group walked away with several bottles and was absolutely thrilled with the experience.
While visiting a friend in Northport, he took us here. The owners had just returned from a vacation & were gracious enough to let us come in for a tasting. Their wine is amazing, i have never been across the pond, but have heard from friends the wine there is sulfite free. We tried mostly reds & 2 whites, chatted w/ the owner & visited w/ their dog.. Ended up buying a case of mixed to go home, we shall savor every glass. The grounds are beautiful & you can tell everything there is done w/ love!
Update- After opening a few bottles, that tasted fine, one by one they were bad, !so 3 of 9 bottles were drinkable, they were transported in a controlled climate, stored in our cellar, which is always below 50 or so & wine we purchased from a trader joes, that same trip was transported exactly the same way & stored the same, that wine tasted perfect. Lesson learned here, I have purchased & shipped wine befkre, it is not my 1st day, at all. Very disappointing for all the $$ we spent. I contacted the wi ery, all they said was you must have transported or stored it wrong, doesent make sense, so we are out 6 bottles of 30 - 40 + $$ for each one. We wont be going there again. In hindsight we should have purchased 1 bottle & drank it. The wine we tasted there was good. Ours was horrible.
Great wine, very good experience
I love their festivals!
Quaint vineyard, gorgeous vine-covered tasting room. We were there for the annual Garlic Faire. You must drive about 1/2 mi on a dirt road - it is marked with signs to the winery. You won't get lost!

China Bend is a wonderful destination for an unforgettable experience. Friendly owners. Remarkable place with great views. Their website has current events. They accept requests for Bed & Breakfast. The finest Organic Unsulfured Wines.
While camping we decided to go to this Vineyard to do a wine tasting. It does take a bit to get there, but the way is very clearly marked. We didn't get to explore the grounds mainly because it was a hot day, but what we saw was gorgeous. There is a Vineyard dog on the grounds. Make sure to give him head scratches on your way in and out of the wine tasting. The day we went the owners were not there, but that meant we got served by the head wine maker. He was full of interesting information and stories, and of course very knowledgeable about the wines since he makes them. The wine tasting itself was extremely reasonably priced, and we went back to our campsite with 2 bottles. I absolutely recommend this Vineyard.
Really enjoyed their live music. The place is breathtaking and soooooo green. It has a quick walk down to the beautiful lake. The wine is DELICIOUS and nicely priced! If you like sweet wine, I recommend the Lake Roosevelt White Wine. But no wrong choice here!
Owners are awesome and this place is kid friendly. They have a great selection of wines that are very delicious. All organic wines with no sulfites added! I would definitely give it 10 stars if possible.

Great wines, good people. The history of the winery is fascinating. It is out of the way, but well worth your time..
All wines are as promised: tasty, varied, no headache, and for those of us with chemical sensitivities, no breathing difficulties. A popular venue for outdoor weddings, including barbeques and camping. Check the website for monthly events open to the public from May to November.
My first time at the annual garlic festival, remote location right on the Columbia River, excellent local wines, and the BEST garlic pesto I've ever had.
GREAT! We had so much fun at the garlic festival. Wine was delicious, everyone very friendly, grounds beautiful. A very special place to visit.
WORTH the drive. Beautiful place, friendly people, and great wine different from anything we have in Northern California. Really enjoyed the whole experience! Will be ordering some for shipment soon!
