Five stars for the history, simplicity, friendliness and cold beer. I’m not going there asking for an old fashioned or margarita. But after a break in driving, or enjoying the river, this bar is it. The bar is as old as the state, survived a fire and continues to operate..Support these folks, and others bars alike. They are a hub of this town and other small towns.
Stopped in for some beer and food. Sadly, the food selection was either heated frozen pizza or corn dogs. However, the staff, and a local, were very friendly and it was still worth the stop to see this historical place.

Small town, must stop. A fallback in history and culture. A bordello in the late 1800s early 1900s. Manicans in the windows are dressed in lingerie. All their belongings still sit in their rooms. Hot spot for town folk and Canadians crossing the border. Shuffle board, darts, and reminiscent posters from the 70s to 90s. Simple drinks, bartender is the owners daughter, and she's worked there for 30 years. Frozen pizza, chicken tenders, easy bar food.
