I've been going ro Sandy's for over 30 years. I had chocolate/vanilla swirl ice‐cream cones as a kid with my parents and sisters. Now my wife and I take our 4 kids for the chocolate vanilla swirl ice-cream cones. Generations of memories, it is hard to match that.
It's like eating dinner at your sister's house. Friendly environment easygoing folks. The food is good enough to stick to the ribs. It's just straight american food. Good and a lot of it.
Ran into some local folks on the ferry and they said this place was a must stop for soft serve. I love soft serve and have had it everywhere. This is, without a doubt, hands down, the best soft serve ice cream I have ever had. I wish they weren't so far from home, I'd be there every day. The folks there were all super cool as well. If you somehow end up this far north in Washington, get here and experience this gift from the ice cream gods.
