So sorry had to do this but its disappointing I love their chocolate cake buy it all the time. Today got a slice and it is no longer the Matilda kind of slice anymore it's more skimpy now used to fill up the box they gave it in which we loved and was more worth the money. Kind of sad now ? ? it's still delicious but half of the slice you used to get not sure it's worth it anymore just disappointing, you know you eat with your eyes first.

This is our favorite stop in Kingston every time we are there. The apple fritter is so different and better than any fritter I've ever had. It's crispy and crunchy on the edges and soft in the center. It's a dream.It's closed on Sundays so we have learned to double our order on Saturday so we can have it on Sundays too. We might have a problem haha

This review is based on my sister and my husband's review of the baked goods. I am GF so was not able to eat here. My sister lives in Kingston and goes here every week for their fresh baked bread and a slice of the chcolate cake. She claims it is the best chocolate cake she has ever eaten! So of course we had to take my husband because he is obsessed with Chcocolate. He was not dissappointed. The cake was rich and dense--a chocolate lovers dream. So big, it would be hard to eat in one sitting. I did enjoy a hand crafted latte. It was great, and I assume a nice addition to the cake!
Legitimately the best ever Apple Fritter in existence. Bear Claw is tasty also. Kudos.

My friend and I stopped here and it smelled like heaven… we were not disappointed! The biscuit and gravy was delicious. The breakfast “Sammy” was fresh and perfect. The coffees were finely crafted.The people working were so incredibly kind and helpful. They really made the experience special.

I've tried to support this business over the years in both locations but sadly, it has been a disappointment. Today, on a crisp clear December morning, I went in at 8 AM hoping to find the best selection of pastries. There were some cookies and a few scones, that's it. I decided to buy a loaf of bread. One employee was trying to assist a customer with a problem order while I stood waiting. I was the only other customer. None of the other 3 employees were assisting...no eye contact, no greeting. That's no way to run a business.
