Love this place-- amazing coffee and great attention to detail in flavors. The pastries are always delicious and the croissants and kouign-amann are PERFECT (the pistachio kouign-amann from Five Stones is genuinely my favorite pastry of all time)!! Coffee syrups are made from scratch in house and the caramel especially is top notch. Great place to visit with friends or to get work done solo-- staff is amazing and the coffee always hits the spot :)
This has easily become my favorite coffee shop in Kirkland! The staff is super attentive, and you can tell each of them really care about coffee quality, and the precision of each drink. My lattes are always incredibly balanced and coffee forward, unlike others that taste like milk. Though I haven't had the pleasure of staying and working from this café yet, it's always packed, which is a great sign. They carry Macrina pastries and offer delicious-looking breakfast...
They make the best cappuccinos I've ever had, and at a decent price. The froth is like silk or cashmere, not just foam. And I had just come back from Europe a few days before I tried their drink, so I feel like that should tell you something. I've also tried plenty of cappuccinos in the area, including places that only do the traditional 6oz., they don't compare.
