Home of the famous grinder! I returned to the Acropolis after an absence of some years. The food is still amazing and the service is wonderful.

New to the area of Kirkland and stumbled upon this absolute Gem of a restaurant. It’s the type of play you go to and instantly feel better. The food is always on point and only second the amazing service from the family that runs it. If you’re in Kirkland this is a must stop by spot!

**Oven Baked Spaghetti (meatballs added)**
The entree arrives hot out of the oven, with the ceramic dish bubbling with fat and sauce. The highlight is definitely the cheesy crust over the top, which tasted good. However, the meatballs were nothing special--just balled-up ground meat with light seasoning that you can barely taste.
The spaghetti portion of the dish was reminiscent of Chef Boyardee, which was okay, I guess. However, the Oven Baked Spaghetti gave off an interesting smell that I wasn't sure how I felt about.
So, the million-dollar question: would I take this home and finish it? Probably not. It wasn't spectacular like pasta dishes you'd find in Italian joints down in Florida or on the East Coast, for that matter.
Overall, it was just okay.
