Amazing food, warm atmosphere, and friendly service! The kabuli pulao was perfectly seasoned, the kebabs were juicy, and the mantu were full of flavor. You can really taste the authenticity in every dish. A wonderful spot I’d happily return to—highly recommended!

I’ve been looking for a good Afghan place for years after a random, excellent dinner while on a business trip. I spotted this place on an unrelated errand and am so happy I did. We couldn’t decide, so just got the first 3 things on the menu! They were all amazing, especially the Mantoo. I will be back and will keep working my way down the list.

The rice is NEXT LEVEL, I love it. Can't remember the last time I had rice this good outside of maybe khao man gai. Also the lamb was perfectly soft. Can't wait to have it again!

This experience was disappointing from start to finish. The service was slow and inattentive, and the portions were shockingly small for the price. We paid nearly $70 for three yogurt drinks and one plate of rice that was so minimal, it could easily pass for a child’s portion.
For that cost, you’d expect quality, quantity, or at least a pleasant dining experience — unfortunately, none of those were present. It felt like poor value for the money, and we left still hungry and very underwhelmed. Definitely not a place I’d recommend or return to.

The food here is exceptional quality - and quite unique in this area. Extremely high quality meat, beautifully cooked, and marinated in an incredibly flavorful spice mix. One of my absolute favorite restaurants on the Eastside.
It was a very unique place. The food had the real taste of home. A very clean and well-organized restaurant with friendly staff. My recommendation is the Qorma Badenjan and Qabili Pulao — both were extremely delicious! ⭐ 10/10

My wife and I tried this place about 4 weeks ago for the first time and the food was excellent. We decided to have dinner again at Afghan Cuisine Saturday night 9/13. We arrived round 7 PM and were seated after about 10 minutes. The place was pretty packed. We ordered Tea, The Mantoo, Qabili Uzbeki, and the Shami Kabob. The problem is they had only one server servicing all the tables. It took over an hour for us to get our food, and we did not even get our tea until after they served us the food, and the only reason we finally got our tea, is because we had to remind them twice! My wife saw people at one of the tables, get up, place money on the table to pay for the drinks, and walked out of the restaurant before they got their food. On the positive side, the food was excellent, but I would not want to wait over an hour for tea or food. Not sure if the owner or manager is trying to cut cost or just is not very good at running a restaurant, but I hope they hire more staff to drastically improve the service.
