Azteca Diablo Shrimp and Tequila Chowder
A creamy chowder of chorizo, shrimp, green chilies, tomatoes, cilantro and jalapenos in a rich clam broth with a hint of chipotle and tequila.
Sopa de Pollo
Chicken soup. Tender chicken breast, carrots, zucchini and red potatoes in a rich broth. Cilantro, diced onions, jalapenos, limes and Mexican rice served on the side.

Borrego
Marinated, seasoned lamb shank slowly baked until tender. Served with marinade sauce, pico de gallo, sliced avocado and rancho beans.
Chile Relleno Tradicional
Poblano chile stuffed with Monterey jack cheese dipped in egg batter and lightly fried to a golden brown. Smothered with salsa de chile relleno. Finished with crema Mexicana.
Tres Amigos

Tacos Autenticos

Fish Tacos
3 baked tortilla-crusted tilapia fish tacos. Finished with cabbage, fresh pico de gallo and Azteca's chipotle ranch sauce. Garnished with lime wedges and an orange wheel.
Carnitas Tacos
Slow-cooked marinated pork finished with diced white onions and cilantro. Garnished with lettuce, mixed cabbage and lime wedge.
Shrimp Tacos

Macho Burrito
A super flour tortilla filled with rice, beans and choice of ground beef, chicken, picadillo, chile verde or chile colorado. Smothered with burrito sauce and topped with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, crema Mexicana and Cotija Mexican cheese.
Fajita Burrito
Flour tortilla stuffed with choice of meat, rice, beans, grilled onions and green peppers topped with arroz con pollo sauce and garnished with pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole.
Burrito Blanco
Flour tortilla stuffed with jalapeno cream cheese, white rice, rancho beans and grilled chicken breast. Finished with azteca's salsa ala crema, cheddar and cotija cheese.
Burrito Dos Amigos
One half is filled with chile verde and topped with Jack cheese. The other half is filled with chile colorado and topped with cheddar cheese. Each is stuffed with refried beans and Mexican rice. Served with green and white onions, grilled green peppers, pico de gallo and avocado. Verde burrito is pork.

Specifically went for sopapilla, unfortunately I would advise to pass on the sopapilla. Dough was old and over cooked.

Food was what it was considering price, good portion at least.

*January 2025 - Still the best restaurant And staff in Kirkland!! 8 months later and we still love this place!! Only now, it’s completely prepped for post COVID-19 dinning and taking every precaution to keep customers and staff safe and healthy—all while maintaining the same level of delicious food and wonderful service. Carry out is so quick and easy on their website too! Thank you Azteca Totem Lake!! 6-18-2020

Azteca’s enchiladas are my comfort food. Tender chicken wrapped in a fresh tortillas, smothered in tasty sauce, alongside rice and refried beans? Yes ma’m! Tonight’s meal was carne asada y mas (grilled skirt steak with a chicken molè enchilada). Great flavor. (I dunno about the folks complaining that the salsa is too spicy. Tastes mild to me.) Highlight of the meal? The non-alcoholic Mangonada! OMG! A blended mango margarita with a berry swirl and taijin spices. Get one!
